Great until you need support
I've had my MC1375 since January of 2021. Worked fantastic until cleaning tile and grout recently when one of the swivel wheels broke off while pulling it across my tile floor. The socket the swivel wheel inserts into is what has broken off. I purchased this model specially so it would "follow" as I steamed my tile floors. Unsure if the case was simply weak or if the unit couldn't handle the stress of rolling across the tile grout lines. Contacted their support but haven't heard back. Will pull it apart and do some plastic welding if there's no reply after 4 weeks. Would not purchase again because of the lack of support. Had a Black+Decker model before. Have always have great support from them on multiple products.

The mop head does not glide over carpeting.
This unit loses steam pressure quickly when using the mop head attachments. I deep clean about a 4 ft. square at one time on 2 cups of water (this unit's capacity); I am constantly filling up the canister with water. I wish it held more water so I wouldn't have to stop and start all the time. It takes a long time to cover a large area of carpeting. The mop head does not glide over carpeting. You must pick up the mop head and move it to its next location instead of gliding to its next location. The canister rolls easily to wherever you need it. The electrical cord from the wall outlet to the canister is long. The steam hose from the canister to the extensions wands is likewise long making it very flexible. The extension wands that attach to the mop head come in two parts that lock together for safety making it easy to remove one part for shorter-length cleaning around objects. The extension wands attach to the mop head handle, which has a rotating knob for cleaning under furniture and under beds, a plus. The triangle brush attaches to the wands and is designed for cleaning corners and other difficult angles but does not have a rotating knob, a minus. Because the triangle brush is a smaller unit than the mop head, it delivers stronger steam pressure to the area being cleaned than the mop head. I use the triangle brush to steam clean my mattress, needlepoint, and hooked rugs. The triangle brush is faster to use than the mop head, being smaller and great steam pressure. I have not used other parts yet but hope to use the jet nozzle with brush attachment to clean the grill on my oven range. I give this Canister Steam System an "8."

MC 1375 works well as a steam cleaner but does not solve our fleas problems.
We initially ordered Mc1275. The 1275 we received has a effect. It burned out after 20 minutes of using. So I ordered a Mc1375 as a replacement. 1375’s ability of adjusting the steam volume is the initial attraction but after receiving not unit, it is clear that 1375 is a much better buy than 1275. The construction is much better with better attachments in addition to the ability of adjusting the steam volume. I used the machine very extensively for 2 days and it can keep the stream going for about 30-35 minutes with 48 oz of distill water. Unfortunately for us, the steam is hot but not hot enough to solve our fleas problem. I applied the steam 5 seconds on each spots hoping to get rid of fleas using the mop attachment. On carpet, it work decently, adult fleas are cooked after each steaming. But fleas eggs still around And we see fleas in the same spot the next day. 5 seconds is long enough for to kill adult fleas in our carpet and tiles in all our bathrooms and kitchen. MC1375 also are able to kill fleas larvae in the carpet and on our kitchen tiles (more reflective and hard surface). But it has problem with fleas larvae on the tiles in our master bathroom (the tile is much more softer tiles that absolve heat). MC 1375 was about to kill the Fleas eggs in our sofa set with 3 seconds of steam in each spot but it does not kill the eggs in the carpet nor on tile surface. I up the steaming time to 8 seconds for each spot and it still does not kill the fleas larvae in our master bathroom. The issue is probably heat dissipation difference between various type of tiles. The standard of steaming is moving the wand at 1 second per inch. I have not try steaming at that speed. It is pretty clear to me that for carpet (and we have pretty thick one), MC1375 is able to steam kill adult fleas and larvae. It kill adult fleas on all our tiles surface. It only kill larvae on some tile surface. MC 1375 can kill fleas eggs on furniture with concentrated stream of steam. It is not clear if it can kill any of the fleas eggs hiding in the carpet or on tiles surface. MC1375 is very versatile and work for most home application. Even though it does not solve our fleas problems, I think it is a good addition to the home cleaning equipment. Dupray neat steamer advertise a steam temperature of 275 degree F, and that will be our next steamer to try. In the mean time, I am controlling the fleas with the combination boric acid in the carpet + essential oil spray of cedarwood oil (4% and 12% variance) + 3% peppermint oil spray. The 4% cedarwood oil + 3% peppermint oil is good enough to kill adult fleas and fleas larvae on all surface but no dice on fleas eggs. It is not clear if the 12% cedarwood oil + 3% peppermint oil can kill fleas egg (I am hopeful since this is the concentration used by one of the commercial product and it seems to be very successful according to the raving review). Update 9/13/2020 - it dawn on me that I was silly trying to tackle a flea problem with steam cleaning. A big part of flea problem is their number after each successful generation and random location that flea eggs get dropped. A highly labor intensive approach like steam cleaning will never work in cleaning up a flea problem. Instead, I put my focus on ways to eliminate fleas with more broad coverage approach. I settle down with Diatomaceous earth + boric acid for carpet. Bleach (5 to 1 dilution) cleaning once + Diatomaceous earth for tiles floor. On area that I notice flea larvae activities, I vacuum daily (and replace the Diatomaceous earth +boric acid if it is carpet area. Bleach clean +replace Diatomaceous earth if it is on tiles floor). So far, the approach seem to work. I noticed at least 40-50 adult fleas and small larvae in the stuff that I vacuum up in the last 506 days. There are still a few area with larvae activities in the house and some adult fleas in my car. I ordered a few flea trap with 7W light and sticky pad that should help speed up the eradication effort (I hope).

New favorite way to clean.
I was looking for a tool to help me do some deep cleaning without having to scrub. This is it! I LOVE this steamer. I was considering purchasing a smaller handheld one but opted for this one as it has a bigger canister to hold more water. I didn't want to have to add water all the time. So far I have deep cleaned my bathrooms and kitchen. I love the long cord and that I can reach anywhere with it. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely useful tool! I only have 1 issue with it
As far as quality, and how well it is able to remove unwanted mess, this thing is terrific and I'd highly recommend. My only gripe with it is the storage for the attachments. I'd be open to paying a few bucks more for this if they could throw in a stronger bag for the pieces to this, in a zipper closing bag, vs the grocery store feeling tote bag, because during travel without fail everything falls out of it. But other than that it's terrific!

So excited to have this
We watched many videos on these steamers, for use in the house and our trucks. We are really impressed with the larger tank size compared with the hand held version steamers. Those I was not a fan of . I will be using this very soon to clean my home and trucks.

Great steamer
Just purchased this steamer my use for it is for detailing cars. I just used this yesterday on a engine bay & let me tell you it did a fantastic job no need for chemicals whatsoever just read the instructions don’t over fill it you need 48oz of distilled water do not use tap water this thing is small & weightless the only negative thing I can say is I wished it had a spot on the unit to wrap the power cord on other then that fantastic

A great steam cleaner, better than expected.
I upgraded to the McCulloch MC1375 after having used a smaller handheld steam cleaner. This steam cleaner does a really great chemical-free job of cleaning many surfaces. Comes with a variety of useful attachments but the attachments are also the major problem with the MC1375; strangely it does not come with the window cleaning squeegee that is included with its big brother, the MC1385, and, it is very difficult, and expensive, to find replacement attachments in Canada for the MC1375. The cord and hose are both long enough to be very useful, the hose does not get dangerously hot. Steam will last for about half an hour on maximum force, not the 45 minutes claimed, at least not when I've used it. It must not be filled with more than 48 oz of water but if you have used it for a while, there's no way to tell how much extra water can be added to top it up. You need to empty the remaining water then add the 48 oz. Luckily this is fairly easy to do. It is, in my opinion, smaller and lighter than the photos might indicate, a good point in its favour. Cleaning with steam does take longer per square foot than using chemical cleaners but it is pretty well effortless, no forcing even with the included brushes, just take the time to let the steam do its job. And, of course, it does NOT use any chemicals to do its excellent cleaning job. In summary I am extremely happy with this purchase but with two reservations; I had to buy the window squeegee through friends in the States, and buying replacement brushes and pads in the future might also require buying via the States. I would definitely recommend the MC1375.

Does the job, but some of the accessories could be more robust
steamer Generally does the job and the reservoir is large enough to let you work for some time. But overall, it feels 'consumer grade’. I guess it's appropriate for the price point relative to the ‘pro’ steamers. A couple complaints: The two-section tube for using the floor mop attachment, or just for extended reach, is all plastic and feels a bit flimsy. It's actually an outer tube and a narrow inner tube (to keep the hot steam away from the outer surface) but after extended use, I found the inner sections of each tube liked to lock together and ended up pulling out of one of the outer tubes. I was able to get it back together, but now the section lock no longer works on one of the tubes, which means it doesn't securely lock to the floor attachment, which means I have to be careful about how I move it over the floor to avoid it pulling off the tube. Side to side movement works better now than back and forth, but due to the lack of rigidity of the tubes, they flex at the middle connection, making everything feel a bit too sloppy. The small scrub pad attachments seem great in theory, but in practice disintegrate too rapidly. The mop pads are held on with rows of plastic hooks on the base of the head. It works OK on smooth surfaces, but if there is much friction, you’ll find the pad edges rolling under. So far they seem to clean up in the washer OK. It’s a fairly wet steamer. If it’s running and you haven’t used it for a couple minutes, or longer, chances are there will be considerable condensation build up in the tube that will shoot out in the first few seconds. Just keep this in mind and have a towel or something handy for the excess water. But once you get going, it generally maintains decent pressure. In theory you can regulate that aspect, but I found after about 5 seconds, peak pressure is no longer available and there wasn’t much point trying to regulate it (may depend on what you’re steaming). Using an IR temperature gun, slow passes with the floor mop attachment results in surface treatment in the 70-80 degrees Celsius range. The ‘triangular’ attachment is also good at getting steam in nooks and crannies without too much pressure (that might instead blow away rather than kill pests). All in all, it works OK but if planning to use this for extended and frequent cleaning sessions, some of the smaller annoyances might be sufficient to merit purchasing a more robust alternative.

Bought mine used, still works great
Some filters for the big attachment were missing when amazon sent it to me but I just use a cloth or the inside cuttings of a Swiffer pad to macguyver it. Very impressed with it, and the different kinds of edging tools let us get everywhere we need to.

versatile, easy to use. worth the money
This unit is as good as it could be at this price point. maybe even better. its light weight, boils water fast and the steam lasts long enough to fully detail a car. I have never ran out of water. Notes: 1- be careful with the hose, it is very soft in material and gets even softer when steam is going through it. it could tear easily. 2- make sure you use distilled water, if you want your unit to last for a long time. 3- some water will splash out at the beginning (all steamers do that). point it away when you start so you dont damage anything. I love this steamer. easily stored and comes with all the attachments needed for a car dealing and even more....and it looks nice too.
