Good for LIGHT house cleaning. Suction is weak for regular dirt

Great light weight vacuum.

This is the second time I own one of these vacuums. The first was purchased 3-4 yrs ago. After almost daily use, the motor started to go. I decided to buy the same brand and model because I loved my other vacuum so much. It's light weight, has plenty of attachments, and vacuums my dog's hairs.

First one fantastic, second one defective, but overall great because response was great

I first purchased this B&D pet vacuum in 2018 or 2019 and it is amazing for being a cordless. So great that I just purchased another one for the other part of the house. It picks up cat litter effortlessly and maintains full power until without warning it will suddenly stop when the battery is drained which is great because I don’t have to re-vacuum an area because of reduced suction. It’s very versatile with its swivel power head and removable handheld vacuum. Only small annoyance is having to pull out animal hair from upper rim of the bagless container when emptying. The filter is easy to rinse and needs to be done often if you have animals. So…I decided to purchase another one this year (2022) and that one had a bad motor with poor suction. Amazon, as usual, immediately provided an exchange and this one appears okay so far but I have only used it once for a few minutes so the jury is still out but this motor has the expected suction power. I have had a few cordless upright vacuums and this one is by far superior and glides easily over bare floors. I don’t have regular carpets but my house is full of various throw rugs and 8x10 individual thicker rugs and it does great on those. It’s not comparable to electrical power vacs, but that shouldn’t be expected. This is lightweight and I am disabled with back problems and joint issues and I am able to do quite a bit with this one. I can’t handle the new stick ones with the motor just below the handle, too top heavy. In my opinion, this has great engineering and quality overall and I consider myself to have high expectations when it comes to vacuums and dealing with pet hair and dust in a desert.

Have had a week and I’m OBSESSED!

I have a $400 shark vacuum that doesn’t closely compare to this! The silicone roller removes my husky hair instantly! Works great on my hard woods and rugs! Not sure how well it would work on carpet though! Loveeeeee

Very good vacuum!!

I had a smaller stick vac that had what looked like a dustbuster attached. It was easy to use, but not the greatest for suction and battery power, but it was great for small quick pick ups. I realized I was using the stick vac most of the time instead of of my canister vac because it is too bulky. So I decided to get a bigger vac and it is very good. It is heavier than my old one, but I think in the long run it will serve me better since that is mostly what I use. The canister to use for small pickups is a little more work to use, but it does have a long hose so it doesn't have to be taken out of the vacuum to use. I didn't find the instruction manual to be very helpful. I asked for one that I could download that might explain things better but so far no response. I still can't figure out how to connect the extra attachments to the vacuum so I don't have to go get one to use. I do like it very much and it is very powerful, so much so that it takes the garbage and it is rolled u[ in a ball in the bin of the vacuum. I would recomend this vac.

Buy the Extended Warranty. When it works it's great.

Pros: First off I want to say that when the vacuum is functioning properly it's fantastic! The automatic increase and decrease in suction and power when going from a hard surface to a rug/carpet and back is great. The bin can hold plenty of dog hair, dust and dirt. The runtime is more than enough to cover 1800 square feet. Charging time isn't bad. You can find replacement filter's easily. The fact that it's not just a dust buster crammed into a stick vacuum. Cons: The vacuum has a tendency to want to fall over if you don't center it just right when you're done. It's not that big of a deal, you just have to be cognizant of it when you put it away or stop. I had one just stop working on me after a few months. It wouldn't charge or turn on. It was under warranty and Black & Decker was great about sending out a new unit. It was a little weird they didn't try to troubleshoot it too much, have me send back the original or have me get it repaired. They just sent out a new unit. Recently I had a wheel come off. There are three plastic prongs inside that are supposed to keep it in place. One of the plastic pieces failed and couldn't be fixed. I tried looking online and even called Black & Decker to buy a replacement wheel but they don't sell them. Beware, they have a limited replacement part system for this vacuum. Luckily I bought an extended warranty so I'm trying to work it out with that company. Another issue is the price. The vacuum pricing is all over the place. When I bought mine it was $140, not including the extended warranty. Now this same model is being sold by Amazon for $240, and there's a pet version and an allergen version which have more features but are $170-180. I'm glad I spent the extra $30-$35 for the extended warranty.

Best Vacuum Ever

we've only had this vacuum for a week, but I can tell you I was reserved at first, once using it, it became apparent that someone has thought about this. 1) So easy to use. 2) light weight 3) We have two huge golden retrievers, sucks that hair in like there is no tomorrow. 4}SO easy to clean 5)Don't have to worry about switching from bare floor to carpet. We have owned at least 10+ Vacuums and returned almost all of them. I can do our whole bungalow in about 15 minutes, its uses 1/4 of its charge. This is a Must buy if your looking. Especially if you have pets.

This is the best cordless vacuum. We have gone through so many other vacuums and this one is by far the best! Great for pets. Many options. So easy to clean.
