Pretty good vacuum
Vacuum was missing 2 screws to attach hose with. Lucky for me I had some that fit. Plastic bag with screws for handle was taped on and left a sticky mess. I used goo be gone to take it off. After putting it together, it worked pretty good. It sucked up hair from my black lab. The cord is very thick and hard to wind around cord holder. It leaves wheel marks in the carpet, if that’s a problem for you. It has a low front profile so it goes farther under the beds & TV stand. It is also light weight compared to my old Eureka bagged upright. I’m satisfied with this purchase.

Lighter, quieter, but... user friendly?
Going to review this again now that I have had it longer: PRO: This is lighter and quieter than my Hoover Wind Tunnel pet hair vac was. -As a floor vac it's pleasant to use, I'm not sure it has as much suction as my Hoover had, but it's working ok. -Nice long cord, but cord is too thick to use on the cord holder, poorly thought out. CON: -If you use the hose and extensions on a vacuum, this is not very good for that. First, disconnecting the hose to use a tube on it is difficult. There is no latch or twist lock like the Hoover, it's just a press fit. It really feels like I'm going to break it getting it loose. -Also, the hose and fittings on the Sanitaire do not fit other vacuum parts. Different diameter AND they have the Female end where the Male end is on most vacs. Almost like they are preventing you from using other pieces! -The bags seem to come off the little spout you push them on to. Maybe it needs a bead on the spout lip to stay on. However when the vacuum starts, it likely sucks it back on. -The cover for the bag area is not latched either, just some kind of press fit and the ABS plastic seems fragile. -If you ever need to lift this vac, like onto stairs, there is no handle for that. It's unbalanced trying to lift from the main tube and a bit difficult. Bottom line: seems like it could be a good vac but total disregard for ergonomics.

Love this vacuum. Doesnt clog with pet hair at all. Cleans very well. Will be buying a 2nd one. Love how simple it is too. Not a ton of nonsense filters to block up. Love it!

Love the long cord. I have a long hallway with no outlets and I can vacuum the whole length at one time. The only downfall so far was that they taped the accessory packet on to the handle, leaving a very sticky, difficult to remove residue. Revised this review to add: Although I did like the long cord, it's not a very good vacuum. Poor suction, even when you change the height setting. I have a cordless stick vac that works better. Unfortunately it was also missing the crevice tool!

Good vacuum
Nice vacuum cleaner. Was packed very poorly. One piece was broken but didn't prevent assembly. Tips over easily. Pickup is good. All in all it is worth the price I paid. I like the bagged vacuums. They are a lot less messy than than the bag less.

Two years in and still awesome
Someone stopped by and asked if I just shampooed..I told them no, I vacuumed. You don’t need a vacuum with a million attachments, thats a gimmick. This brand is the closest thing you’ll get to an old school oreck. I had a new oreck and it was nothing compared to this. Keep the bag changed and I could see it lasting a really, really long time. The febreeze bags smell great too. I think they’re hoover brand, pretty sure it’s in the FAQ. For $150, this is a steal
