Lots of suction

I love it. It's a little bit heavy for lousework, but I didn't read the description close enough to know it was more than I needed!

Great buy and works great

To me it is worth every penny. Gets the job done. The only downside is the silicon on the edges do come off easily, but still a good compact vacuum.

Powerful

We have had other car vacuums but never as powerful as this one. The others have been 12v igarette lighter powered whereas this one is 120vAC

Very impressed

First off this car vac is pretty powerful for its small size. The power cord is a nice length but if my outdoor outlet wasn't right next to the driveway I would definitely need to use an extension cord. This vacuum has a blower function that I was not aware of. I have not used the blower yet so I cannot say how well that works. The rubber tipped attachments are FANTASTIC at getting dog hair out of the car! The down side to the rubber tipped attachments is that the rubber started wearing off after the first use. I'm not sure if I was a little too vigorous with the attachment or if it just wears quickly. I like the console and carpet tool but I haven't quite figured out a good use for the crevice tool yet, it didn't seem to work for me between the seats as shown in the picture. So the crevice tool for me is quite useless. I also like that the tools are labeled so you know what they should be used for. The narrow wand is permanently attached to the hose and I wish that it was longer. I would've really liked to use this to get in between the front seats. Another downside is that the attachments don't clip or lock into place so if you are attempting to vacuum a tight area, the attachment might get pulled off and you may spend a good 5 frustrating minutes trying to get the tool out again (yes it happened it me). Otherwise I am very pleased with this purchase and definitely recommend this product for anyone interested in a car vacuum. Oh by the way, I read some reviews where the purchaser was upset when they received this vacuum that it didn't plug into the car. If you really wanted to power this by the car, you could always use a power converter so it can be plugged directly into the car.

Great, but not for travel.

It would be given 5 stars, but the fact is it is too powerful at 560 watts to be good for a travel vacuum. I have a Ford F150 Raptor that easily gets dirty inside (aside from what the kids do. Id like to be able to have a vacuum that i can take with me that works with what my truck can handle (400 watts).

Great Car Vac For The Price

I clean my own car and have built up a decent cleaning kit over the years. One item I have always been lacking is a good, portable vacuum. I recently purchased the Eureka Hand-Held Vacuum based on the large number of good reviews. It was ok, but it was not powerful enough for me and since it was meant as an all-purpose vacuum, it lacked attachments needed to throughly clean a car. I like the AutoSpa because it was built from the start to be an car vacuum so there are fewer compromises. The AutoSpa includes attachments for cleaning air vents and other nooks that work pretty well. I've used this vac about a dozen times and here are my impressions so far: Pros: -Powerful suction -Genuinely useful attachments -Built-in attachment holders and cord/hose management -Lightweight and easy to carry with a built-in handle -Easily accessible switch -Good price for the level of performance/usefulness Cons: -Attachments don't fit very securely in the unit -Yellow silicone around the main suction head flakes off when any pressure is applied (I just peeled it off) -Rectangular mounting point makes it harder to use other attachements other than what is included (not really a big deal) -Has an overall cheap feeling but works well and that's what matters at this price point Also, of note is that this plugs into a standard 120V household outlet (meaning you'll need an a household outlet). Please don't assume this will plug into a cigarette lighter or that is has a battery! That said, I've used this several times and I am pleased with my purchase. I get the occasional stubborn dog hairs that a lot of handheld vacuums can't lift off. This one seems to pick up everything in its path. Overall I am pleased and would recommend this to anyone who wants a reasonably powerful, very useful car vac for quick cleanups or thorough details jobs.

A perfect tool for the job

I have had mine for 10 years. Do the attachment show wear and tear? Yes. Has this diminished the effectiveness of the vacuum overall? NO! This about as good a tool as you'll find to clean auto interiors including floors. It's small enough to get in spots you could never get at the car wash and way more powerful than any battery power hand held. I'll buy another if my current one ever dies.

Excellent Vacuum, however

I used this for the first time today and I must say I was really impressed by the suction this little guy has. It is so light weight it is effortless to handle. However, by the time I was finished, so was the carpet attachment. It was all worn out! Whether or not they sell replacements for this I do not know. One would think that after all the effort put into making an awesome vacuum they would have come up with a sturdier design for the attachments as the vacuum is pretty much useless without them. Hence the 4 stars, had it held up, I would have given it 5 stars.
