School scissors

My son loves these scissors for school. We couldn’t find any “boy” colors while school supply shopping. And my son did not want pink or sparkles. So this was the perfect option! They came the next day too!

Terrific kid-sized scissors!

Update 10/03/2017: A year and a half later, still loving these scissors! They're all still sharp, even with semi-daily use for various things, and they still fit in little and medium hands perfectly. We haven't broken a pair yet. My children choose them over other scissors because they prefer the soft rubber coated handles.. so much more gentle on their hands. I've had these scissors organized in several different ways - bins, pockets, etc., but the best way I've found is actually in a tiered fruit basket - these scissors are in the middle with patterning/large scissors on the bottom and hole punches on the top. Sounds random, but it works to keep them organized and within easy grabbing distance! :) ******************************************************************************************************************************* These are terrific kid-sized scissors! Construction: The handles are soft silicone and the blades are sharp. The tension is perfect - they're not too tight or too loose and they cut very well. Size: The scissors are just over 5 inches long from handle to tip and fit beautifully in a young child's hands. My 11yr old finds them a little small, but my 9 and 5yr olds choose them exclusively over all of the other scissors we own. In a pinch, I have even used them and don't find them incredibly uncomfortable, but they are definitely kid-sized! For reference I've included pictures of both my 5yr old and myself holding them. Colors: The colors are really bright and pretty. The colors I recieved are different than the picture shown - each pair is two-toned - blue with green, green with blue, and pink with yellow - there are 4 sets of each color in the pack. Shipping: They arrived in a different package than shown but still had the same info - anti-microbial and stainless steel. The scissors were wrapped with plastic and had a flimsy plastic "storage rack" - basically just a thin plastic molded piece that looked like extra packaging material. All in all: I've owned and used these scissors since September and have had absolutely no issues. They're terrific scissors for the price. Before purchasing, I went and priced them at Walmart and at our local dollar store and could not find a better deal for the quality! :) Hope this helps!

Not exactly as pictured

I bought these scissors as part of a school supply list. The only thing that wasn't so great is that the scissors I received are hot pink, not green and blue. My son was not too excited about that.

The best kids scissors we've found

We own two pairs of these for home use and they've been through almost three years of use and still work great. I have bought more during the Amazon back to school sales to send with the kids to school so we wouldn't lose the pairs we have. I even sent one to my dad, a teacher, so he can use them for quick cutting jobs in his classroom. I feel these, and all westcott children's scissors, are higher quality than fiskers. We've had a few pairs of fiskers come and go but these stand the test of time. The handles stay soft and the blades (which start off lined up perfectly) stay lined up, our pairs have yet to loosen up. My one complaint was not being able to choose the color but luckily we received the exact color we wanted.

Broke after just a few weeks :(

Super bummed that these didn't last. But guess that's what you get for going for a cheap pair of scissors for a crafty kid.
