Great to use minus the minor shocking
Great tool to get the job done does shock you a little bit but it's not bad definitely worth the money and it collects alot of the dust and limits the hand sanding

Lets Get Down To It
I went through a ton of the reviews. As always I go through the 1 star reviews and read most of them. Some of the main complaints were a wobble, bad suction, no adapter for shop-vac, and a shocking sensation when using the tool. First and foremost I love this tool. You can not beat the price. So lets get to it. 1. The wobble. A wobble doesn't mean the manufacturer screwed up or its a bad product. It could have been damaged in transit. Always make sure to check your orders the minute they come in for any defects and return to Amazon for free should there be any issues for a refund or replacement. If you get another one with a similar issue reach out to Amazon or the delivery party and file a complaint. Amazon in not in the habit of sending out junk so its more then likely the shipper screwing up you product not Amazon or the manufacturer. 2. Bad suction. If there is bad suction its the vacuums fault not necessarily the tool or the size grit you're using is to high or the drywall is still damp. Make sure you're using a good sized shop-vac with the appropriate dust collection bag for the vacuum. If you are not doing this that is more than likely your problem. 3. No adapter for shop-vac. There are adapters out there but you have to look for them. I found a Ridgid VT1755 3 piece adapter set at home depot and you can make them work with the tools hose and your vacuum with little effort and especially without glue or duck tape. The fit is tight which is a good thing. Finally the shock issue. The shock issue happens for several reasons. One your vacuum has no ground prong on the cord, the circuit your are plugged into has no ground or simply there is a ton of static being caused by the conditions locally and the fact that you are using primarily plastics in your vacuum and tool. I had a few shocks at first but then changed my vacuum and it went away as well as the weather conditions were different and the electrical was better at the next job. If need be wear rubber coated gloves and move on. This is a great product. Sure it can be improved upon but what can't.

Bought for finishing basement
I bought this sander to help me finish the drywall in my basement, I'm not a professional drywaller so I had a lot of sanding to do. 1. For the price its a very nice tool and comes with some some good accessories. 2. It doesn't get into the corners very well as others have stated. 3. It will shock the crap out of you while using if your have plastic hoses and bare hands. 4. It will eat right through your mud if you're not careful, even on the lowest setting. 5. Using it on the ceiling is possible, but it gets heavy very quickly. I could only sand ceiling for a few minutes at a time. 6. A good shop vac with a secondary centrifugal separator is what I used to control dust. Without the separator the vac filter plugged within minutes. 7. It will drop some dust when you stop using it, even with the vac running. Not a big mess, but annoying. I'm glad I bought this tool, it really helped me get good results in my basement. It took a little bit to get good with it, but I'm glad I spent the money on it.

DIY project? Buy it!!
It’s a good product! Would this be for a contractor to use every day on the job? Doubtful. I think this tool is more for the busy DIY homeowner. That’s me! Used it for my basement and kitchen/dining walls and so far, this is the investment that keeps on giving!!! I started sanding down in my basement with hand sanders. Time consuming! Got this baby, finished my basement and then went up and did the sand, patch/repair, and re-sand for my entire kitchen/dining area in 4 hours!! The longest part was waiting for the mud to dry...seriously. The walls were really bad (numerous drip marks, showing joints, nicks/dings, and just overall really bad previous paint job). The walls are so smooth now and I can’t wait to paint! Obviously not good for edges/corners, which were also very bad. I have a different sander for that. Really glad I decided to just “buy it and figure out how to use it”. It’s very easy. I had never used a power sander before and was worried about doing more harm than good. There was nothing to worry about. Just keep your hands all the way on the handle/ grip when you’re using it. I have a habit of holding up my pinky away from the rest of my hand when I grab things and I felt the electric shock a few times that others spoke about. Either that or do what one guy said and just get some rubber gloves. I’m an electrician so the little shock didn’t scare me at all, but I still grabbed some gloves just to make sure I wasn’t distracted while sanding.

It's a shocking good sander
It's definitely has a issue with static shock or insulation in the trigger assembly. I hooked it up to a shopVac 6hp and I have zero dust. It's a beast it chews drywall mud in a milli second but I've had for short time so hopefully I will get better with it. I would say probably best to get a thicker vinyl glove to wear while using.

Good tool. Use a shop vac.
A common problem with drywall sanders is that the pads have holes in different spots (so you use that brands sanding discs). I experimented with a sanding disk which did not fit the holes, and hooked the tool up to a shop vac. It worked really well. Yes, some extra dust- but expected with a tool which is designed to create dust.

Decent but issues....
This machine was halfway decent, but it's a bit in the heavy side. I've stopped using the sander though due to continuous shocks I get from it. I believe money would have been better spent going towards a higher quality machine.

Works well
I should have bought years ago. You will catch on quickly how to use….for instance, don’t flip over unless you have a garbage can near by. The tool will collect dust if you are working overhead and will drop everywhere if not careful. But if you extract this build up into a garbage can or vacuum it out of the unit. It is true this machine will create no mess on it’s own

Broke after 1 use.
The machine seems like really good quality and it worked well but the lock-on power switch broke after one use which makes it harder, if not impossible, to use.

Only problem for me it give you a lot of static One you’re wearing the proper gloves you’ll be ok
