Exceptional quality headstall

Excellent quality leather and very nice headstall. However, the slit is not in the correct position and the headstall is very big. I shortened it from the bottom on the off side as shown in the pics. I'll be cutting the excess off I just wanted to show the adjustments I made. With this fix the ear slit will be in a much better position and will give a much better overall fit.

buy a different one

This thing is weirdly huge and overall just made incorrectly. The holes are too low, but even if you punch more, you just end up with a huge extra piece of leather. Wasn’t worth it, I just ended up throwing it away. Would’ve returned it if I hadn’t basically destroyed it trying to make it work. Only giving it an extra star because the leather was fine quality.

Too small

Excellent quality and nice feel. I purchased 2, 1 for 3yo paint and additional for 15yo quarter horse. On my 3yo it's on the last hole and does not fit the quarter horse. Unfortunately will have to return one.
