Great buy!
Just installed these in my 1988 YJ. It is a very snug fit with the carpet kit. Probably designed to be installed without the carpet, but works. Such a great improvement. Plus, it adds cup holders for rear passengers. If you’re exploring speaker box options, this is it. They don’t come with speakers, which is perfect. Allows you to choose brand and quality. Easy install. Looks great. Amazing use of space.

Spice color and they fit well. Cupholders not so good.
These are a tan or spice color, as stated in the the listing. Match my interior and fit very well into a dead space. Should have better mounting screws with “speed clips” for the speaker screw mounts, so be aware. Try shorter drywall screws, as they hold better. A little pricey, but great design—even the budget speakers I got sound great. Don’t plan on actually putting a drink in the cup holders—I can’t find anything that won’t tip over or fall out when driving—maybe a can with a coozy would fit it? Not a dealbreaker, but they should work and they really don’t.

It's good, but has some small flaws
It's not the most perfect fit, it actually helps to gently knock it into place with a rubber mallet before drilling into the cage to lock it in place. Be aware you also have to drill a hole into the casing of the speaker box to feed the speaker wire from the stereo. How you seal that hole afterwards will be your decision. It can somewhat impede the recline of your seat if you want to roll it back a long way, but this wont be a problem for most people. Very important: If you buy this with the seller-provided Boss speakers, those speakers come with screws that do not drill into the plastic, they are machine screws with nuts, which are physically impossible to use for the installation.... Plan ahead. Also, you can buy the empty speaker pods, then buy the exact same speakers for about $22, and save a few $$ to end up with the same setup

Errr, ok.?
They are brown. Who has a brown interior? Should have been black. The specs say they are good for a 3 1/2” deep speaker. Maybe, if the magnet diameter is one inch. I had to buy an angled Scosche adapter to bring the magnet away from the back wall. AND they have a molded cutout for the “roll” bar where it comes down behind the seats. My ‘78 CJ7 has the bar coming down on top of the wheel well so alternate mounting is the story of the day. These things are ok at best, buy some plastic rated paint and good luck with your speaker depth.

Perfect fit!
I like the very snug fit into the pocket. I had to shave the inside edges for the screw clips; in order the secure the speakers. A little bit of know will go a long way. Otherwise great product! Even if it was a little pricey for molded plastic....

Bought them for my Jeep and they fit just perfectly. Love the cup holder as well so for my guests in the back seat they can put their cup or phone in it . Great purchase ????

Read closely: tan only!
The sound wedge will work perfectly. However, my husband did not read carefully and had to paint the wedge to match the inside of our Jeep.

Snapped right in to 80 CJ7
Perfect fit for my ol Nell Bell (1980 jeep CJ7) totally satisfied snapped right in didn't even drill hole.now im bumpin and have plenty of room for my gear!!
