Well worth the money !
I am the kind of guy that reads all reviews of everything before settling in to buy it. I have learned over the years that a lot of reviews are not true as the people writing them do not know how to use the products correctly . So Ill start by saying I bought a similar camera last week for one of my friends . This camera was a **** and priced very good . The **** app is similar to the app for the Tapo cameras but is in fact easier to use . My reason for upgrading to this 2 pack was that it included an ALARM that sounds off when motion is activated . I found this feature very useful in that if someone were in fact coming into the entrance of a house , It would go off and hopefully the intruder would leave . The Tapo app does take a little more getting used to . Another worry I had was not being able to record video to my phone without having a subscription . That would be a deal breaker for me as I want to be able to record an event WITHOUT monthly fees . ( You must RECORD the clip you want to the SD card first , then you can go to " memory " and view or download the clip to your phone for free ) .The price to have clips recorded online through the app is what I would call a fair price and they give you a 30 day free trial , But I'm pretty frugal and am happy with how the camera works without paying a monthly subscription . One thing that it does have besides a privacy mode that turns the camera functions off , is a " HOME AND AWAY " preset. If you have multiple cameras , you can " PRESET " each camera individually for how you want it set at either setting . Just because you are home , you may want a camera to notify you of any action that trips it , OR you may want to disable the ALARM feature on just ONE of the rooms you use . It took me a little bit to figure out that I could individually set each camera the way I wanted for my " AWAY" mode and it would save all my custom settings . Now when I leave the home , I press " away " and it sets all the cameras with the touch of ONE button.. Then when I get home , I hit the " HOME " button and I have it set to turn off my living room cameras , yet leaves the others active . What a great feature , once you learn how to use it . Like I said , the software on the " **** " was a little easier to use , but that model camera didn't have the ALARM feature . Once I took the time to play around with the " TAPO " camera and software and learn how to set it , This camera and software are WELL worth the money . I plan to add a couple more cameras to my system in time , and hope they continue to work well . I am sure if you set it up right and learn how to use the software , you will be amazed at what these little cameras can do for the price .

Easy to Setup & Use
Very straightforward setup and use and I like how you can mark certain points of view for each camera to quickly move to. I appreciate having a feature where the cameras only record if it detects motion and only during times you say it can record. I like that you can zoom in and out. I expected the panning, but not being able to zoom. Being able to use an SD card for memory also helps alleviate any concerns about things being uploaded to the cloud that we don't want there. I have some minor quality-of-life changes I wish were available (scheduling Away Mode rather than having to manually turn it on each day or being able to change multi-cam view to just 2 views instead of always being 4), but they're not mandatory aspects of the system so I won't knock a star for it. The motion detection can be very sensitive which is both good and bad. Good in that it's not likely to miss much, but bad in that sometimes I get alerts for dust falling too close to the camera at night. If the detection has the follow feature on and you have multiple moving things in front of it (like say a dog and a person), the camera tends to focus on whatever it locked onto first and so it can miss whatever the other moving thing was doing. I don't know how you'd address that, but thought people would want to know.

Works but the audio quality is terrible
I originally purchased one of these cameras to test it out and see how it worked, and it did very well with the exception of the quality of the audio. Anytime I tried to talk to my son at home from work there was a lot of distortion and the sound kept breaking up. I tried it when I got home and it continue to do the same thing from me being right in the same area of the camera. I ended up sending it back and I purchased these due to a good price for the two as well as hoping that the audio would be better. I found that it was not just due to the last camera, but the audio quality in both of these cameras are the same as the single one I bought. With exception to the audio quality, the cameras do work very well, and I am quite satisfied with them. The audio quality really wasn’t a big factor for me so I did keep these cameras.

Great for one user, but sharing is limited
I wanted to share the camera access with my partner, but sharing is VERY limited with no options to give more/less access. The camera itself is great, especially for the price, but I'm disappointed that other users are limited both in number and in ability to do anything more than see the live view and playback. They cannot move the camera, speak through the camera, or otherwise do "admin" functions. If you don't mind sharing an account with someone, it works alright, but for multi-person use it is very limited.

One or Two Little Glitches
I love these, except -a devoted criminal gets the camera to track him to the max right or left position, where it forgets it's on the planet, and you have to recalibrate it from the app -tricky install but disabling mobile data on my android helped -i have a resident hacker somewhere who deletes my cameras and deletes stuff off their cloud. Pick another cloud at least Lots more good points than bad though...like you can control movement from the app and LiveLook anywhere you want to look...from anywhere you can use your phone, it has AI to detect a person, and you sure can't complain about the cost. Alexa connected the cameras right away...wish she would show cameras as efficiently, misses frequently.

Good little camera for a cheap price
Good little camera for a cheap price - I do wish it had a better picture though. Even on high quality it's a bit too fuzzy when zooming in. The only big issue is that it needs a better antenna because we have ours mounted inside a metal trailer and it's really hard to get it to pick up a good wifi signal. The software also needs some upgrades - like more control of when it sends notifications or movement detection - not every day of the week should be the same. For example, Sundays should be treated differently than weekdays. Other than that, it's been an awesome camera! Recommended.

Scam
This product is a borderline scam as they don't make any effort to clearly tell you that you'll need a "Tapo Care" subscription to make use of this camera. They also ram a button in to your face on the app too. There's no 5GHz WiFi, no RJ45 ethernet socket, no web interface (which would allow it to be viewed without reliance on an app), no desktop app, no ability to upload to FTP and no email notifications. The speaker is shockingly poor. You cannot remove the branding/text on the image. The power cable has a proprietary connector. Finally, there's no quality or substream settings. Much of the app is behind the Tapo Care paywall, including rich notifications, privacy masking, motion tracking, etc. Avoid.

Great for the price!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to capture all the cute things my cat does in the night and I was not disappointed! The motion detection is a great feature as I don't have to go through all the footage and find where he comes into bed with me, it detects his movement and I can record and save the bits I want. There is a delay in sound, but this doesn't bother me. The image quality is very good! You can control the position of the camera from your phone and also use the voice control. Don't need a subscription for the app either! Sometimes the app freezes, I just close it and re open it then it works fine. Would definitely buy again for different rooms in the house!

Brilliant Little Camera (Tapo C210)
The media could not be loaded. A fantastic camera all round, just make sure you buy a Micro SD card to go with it! Motion detection is reliable, the swivel functionality works perfectly. Picture quality is good. The night vision is excellent, although you should keep in mind that it won't work through windows very well. The app itself works reasonably well, but it isn't perfect. Sometimes activity notifications can be delayed, meaning you miss events that happen live. Sometimes the cameras take a while to load and the app doesn't work on tablets (From what I can tell with my S8+). A positive is that, as long as you have an sd card, you don't need to pay for a subscription to view the cameras and look at the playback, unlike other camera manufacturers. Choosing to pay for the premium service adds a few nice bonuses (which aren't essential to using the camera) such as moving the camera automatically to track motion and a still thumbnail of the motion in the notification. As well as cloud storage for your playback and downloads too. Not essential, but quite cheap and useful. And in case this is helpful to anyone, I have a 256Gb Micro SD card installed in my two cameras and I can view about 20-30 days back depending on the amount of activity. And as an added bonus, here's a cute clip of my cat being confused by the camera (compressed a little bit to reduce the file size.)

Good for the price.
Got a few of these now for ~ £26 each. For the price, they are surprisingly capable. If you don't wish to subscribe to the Tapo cloud offering it's perfectly possible to use a memory card and access the contents of that remotely. Without a memory card a server becomes active that can serve streams to VLC player and interface with the likes of iSpy to record video centrally and control the pan/tilt. The night vision is very good but of course does not work well through a window as the IR lamps reflect back into the camera lens as you would expect. The still picture quality is good and the motion detection & following works very well. The only downside - and it's not surprising at the price - is that the video compressor is poor so that if there's a lot of movement and when panning/tilting it becomes very blocky. It would be nice if a future software upgrade allowed less compression for local storage and/or had an improved codec. Using a power meter, each camera draws about 2 watts when powered up, going up to about 4 when in motion. Even with current energy prices, this isn't going to make much of a dint in your wallet.

Good value but not a good home security option
At this price point I did not expect to get advanced features such as email and ftp/http access. The basic operation works as described - so long as your phone is never on mobile data if you want live streaming. It seems that TP-Link decided to make you reconnect every 2 or 5 minutes if you are not on the same, local wi-fi network. This makes it totally useless for remote monitoring. I think the streams go via TP-Link rather than using P2P which would probably avoid the timeout issues. I am waiting to see if TP-Link decide to get a fix for this - if not, all the cameras will be replaced by something more suitable for remote access with continuous streaming for monitoring purposes. November 16th - TP-Link seem to indicate that even on a mesh network with the same SSID the camera may decide it is on a different network. Interpret how you wish, but they stated.. "When your mobile phone switches from the external network to the internal network,it quiet necessary for you to restart the Tapo APP because of the unstable network environment. Otherwise, your C210 may not be able to switch to local liveview." I think we can see the extreme limitations of TP-Link insisting that streams go via their Cloud and not on a P2P connection. A shame as apart from this streaming issue they are exceptional value.
