Perfect for summertime treats!

I just used these for the first time last weekend to make homemade strawberry yogurt pops. They are very sturdy, super easy to fill, and I love that the kids fit tightly and the base is stable. That said, the lids fit tightly. :) I had to run the frozen pops under hot water longer than I expected to in order to free them from the molds, but it really didn’t melt the pops at all. We’ll use these a lot this summer!

Wish they fit the other Tovolo popsicle molds

The tops and bottoms are slightly different sizes than another Tovolo set I have, meaning I have to dig for the right ones rather than being able to just grab the nearest piece. A bit of a pain but I like the product

great construction, poor design.

These molds were a replacement for a smaller set that shattered when dropped from freezer.. That said, these are not likely to break if dropped. The plastic is much thicker and the whole thing looks to be made to last. A few problems with the design of it though.. pros: 1. these make big pop-cycles! 2. hard thick plastic. good construction 3. drip guards 4. neat star shape cons: 1. hard to remove pop from mold (ive had to use a screwdriver) 2. drip guards drip when tilted 0_0... as long as you dont tilt your pop when you eat it, these drip guards work. bring that pop to your mouth and the cute star shape makes nice deep channels for melted pop to flow right out and on your t-shirt... 3. i dont like that i have to use the base to freeze pops. its such a space hog. 4. the size is almost too big.. i cant eat a whole one in one sitting.. but thats just me.. 5. it would be nice if the stick part would go a bit deeper down the mold.. ive had breakage problems when pulling the pop out.. its no fun to eat a popcycle by scraping it out of a mold with a knife..

Love these! Durable!

Love these! The Tovolo molds are wonderful! Durable, fun shapes, fit well in thee base. Fits nicely in the freezer without taking up too much space. Once frozen, I love that I can remove from from the base and store them individually or in bags so that I can make another round of ice pops with the other 2 sets we have. Altogether, we have 3 Tovolo sets: the Star Pop Molds, the Blue Rocket Mold, and the Groovy Ice Pop Molds. The Groovy Ice Pop molds are larger and hold more liquid than the other 2, so we tend to try to make healthier pops, like frozen fruit smoothies and frozen chocolate milk (using cocoa and my own ingredients). Since I bought all 3 molds, I'm copying and pasting this review for all 3 products, as this is my review for all 3 molds. I just am not creative enough to write a different review for all 3 shapes! I will say, though, that my kids like to choose the shape, even when the flavors are the same. And the cost is worth it. They have more than paid for themselves with the frequency of use in our house.

Pop mold

Dislike because difficult to put ingredients in should come with a special spoon I found if you run the pop mold under warm water for a few minutes easier to remove pop These are the reasons for my 4 star

Substantial plastic and fun shape!

I was pleased that this company used a good quality plastic. Nothing like the cheapo dollar kinds. They also have a generous size serving and the kiddos love the shape. The stand is convenient for filling without spills and messes. Iced ingredients came out smoothly after running hot water over for just a few minutes. May buy extra shapes!

Decent little maker for the price

I only didn’t give a 5 bc the base cracked pretty easily under pretty normal use. Applying a little pressure to get the top of the Popsicle into the stand...

great product and so easy to use!

I bought this product for my popsicles and they worked brilliantly. These molds are placed firmly into the stand and are sturdy -even when placing them into the freezer and out. Filling them was pretty easy. I love that they are not connected (so you can take 1 out to eat instead of 1 mold that has 6 attached holes in it). I used warm water to unmold them and it was simple. The stick (both to hold and what was in the popsicle filling) was just the right length. It is hard to eat the bottom part of the popsicle that is in the guard, but that amount is pretty small. And the popsicle is huge anyway! Washing them was a breeze. I also purchased a silicone mold and the Tovolo Star was by far easier to use. I would definitely buy this product again if I ever needed another popsicle mold. I've already recommended it to a few friends.

Excellent!

Works super well. My popsicles turn out great and come out easily. Didn’t give it 5 stars only because the base is an awkward shape and doesn’t fit well in my freezer.

Brilliant

I really love these ice lolly moulds. They can be tricky to release the frozen lolly when it's ready but it's no bother for me to just run it under a warm tap for a few seconds which helps. I love the fact that they BPA free as that is what I was looking for. They might be more expensive than other lolly moulds but I would rather pay more for one which is less likely to leach chemicals from the plastic into the food when it reaches freezing temperatures.

Awesome pops

This molds are awesome!! Run the mold under a bit of hot water, and the pop slides right out. My 7 year old son has some mild fine motor issues, and he has no problem making his own pops with juice, yogurt, or pudding. These molds are the perfect size for kids.

Good, nice big ice lollies BUT it does NOT fit in the freezer unless I remove the ice drawer!!! Silly design, they should have knocked just an inch off the top as I have a big 6ft fridge freezer and it still didn't fit!!
