Mice are not my friends!

I thought about adding a picture of a mouse caught in this trap but couldn't stomach the idea of "posing" a dead mouse. Ewww! I bought a case of these traps because I live in a very old house and have not yet discovered all the ways these little monsters can get in my house. I don't think they're cute and, frankly, knowing they've been running around my house (or worse--hearing them!) made me decide to buy in bulk. I'm not current on "supply chain issues" but my local stores seem to be out of mouse traps more often than not...or everybody in town has a mouse issue too. It just made sense to have a quantity of these on hand because when I see proof they've been in the house or hear them running around, I want them gone pronto. These are very well made, extremely easy to set and by buying in bulk I have no guilt throwing the trap and it's victim out after one use.

This is the only mouse trap that my husband will use. They are easy to set but stable enough to be an effective trapping device. He swears by this product.

Wonderful product if you're looking to infuse small animal murders into your day to day

Everyone hates mice. No one wants to have them around the house and that's where rat and mouse traps come in. They have to leave and they don't make it easy to get rid of them. But these traps are not strong enough to actually do the job. First one I caught it was caught by the legs. Unfortunate but instead of letting my family wake up to a suffering animal I had to put it out of it's misery. Second one I got was caught right on the neck and didn't die. Couldn't have been a more direct shot but it just scared him and held him in place. I had to look into his little mouse eyes begging for me to just end it already. He was certainly bigger than the other one I thought maybe it was a fluke and he was just an absolute unit or something. Today I killed my 3rd. I had a mouse getting under the cabinets through a very small crack so I put a trap next to the crack. It snapped it and broke it's skull but it got free and slumped back in there slowly. I reset the trap and put it back and it wandered into it again and still didn't die and didn't get caught. It just stumbled to the middle of the floor and looked at me till I walked up and killed it. Now I am questioning my life choices, with the weight of their little mouse souls on my shoulders. I hate mice as much as the next guy but every other trap I have ever used up till now was an instant kill or at least pretty quick. It felt more humane. This is just beating small animals to death to stop their suffering so my children don't wake up to mouse screams. I guess it accomplished the task but I am probably not going to use these again.

Still the most effective.

Takes some patience to get these Loaded. Mice stole the bait until I set the sensitivity all the way to the right and used bait that would stick to the bait area (soft cheese, soft chocolate) - they were able to lick off the peanut butter every time without getting caught!!

These are the mouse traps you are looking for

Just basic standard mouse traps like you can buy anywhere. They do the job at an excellent value. The big platform these have is what you want, because they trigger easily when crossed. FYI: You can look this up yourself online, but there is no need to bait traps. Just put two side by side where you think mice are running, they operate on muscle memory, not sight, so they will cross them. Using two ensures they get caught and killed when moving fast. Bait only potentially lures more critters into the area that weren't there before, plus it can get sticky and nasty. I always dispose of a trap when it kills, because it seems more sanitary. Mice can carry disease. So having a large supply is nice. This package will last me many years.

Broken after 2 times

Wooden traps do not instantly kill the mice unless it traps it perfectly over the neck and one of the traps fell apart after 2 times. Do NOT buy this product.
