High quality, and fun to use!

Excellent! High quality embosser. It came with a certificate to order your customized embosser plate, but that took an additional week to arrive, so you cannot use it out of the box. You may also check their website for embosser templates and find the one that you like before you purchase. We will probably be ordering a new plate because my wife says the plate that I picked out is "definitely masculine'. I didn't want feminine stationary, so of course I picked out a nice, strong design. The plates are easy to change, so both of us can easily customize our own stationary. It is also fun to make your own stationary/envelopes/coupons/whatever. Our kids have been writing 'coupons' and then stamping them with the embosser to make them 'official'. A great little product that I wish we had bought earlier!

Good value.

Exactly as described. Works great. I used it to emboss address on wedding envelopes. It took only a few days to get the personalized plate back from "Three Designing Women." Saved $15 - $20 over retail and I was able to get the style I wanted. The certificate included in the box is what determines what designs you can choose. I was not surprised at what was included. Some speciality retail stores may have special designs which may not be available in this off-the-shelf box. I like that I can purchase other embossing plates that are interchangable.

The build of this is very nice and strurdy

The build of this is very nice and strurdy. I ordered the personalized stamp online using the code that comes with the stamper and it came within 4 days. The embossed stamp looks great and just how I designed it. It is very classy and I don't have to deal with those ugly return address stickers. It doesn't take much force to stamp and you can stamp through multiple layers if you want it on the front of a letter. I use the large envelope and stamp the back flap. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Best. Gift. Ever.

What a great product! It will be on the top of my gift giving list for the future. When I got married I bought this as a gift for us to make our return address beautiful on thank you notes. So very pleased not only with the quality but with how quickly it came once we ordered. The ordering process was easy and there were so many styles to choose from. Don't hesitate a bit if you are considering this for yourself or someone you love!

It took a while for the initial ordering kit to come in, but once I ordered the personalized plate, it came in the mail super fast and was exactly what I expected. Ordering the plate wasn't confusing either, the website is really user friendly. There isn't a super good selection of designs, but there are definitely some nice ones. It's a good price, and from what I understand, USPS can detect your return address off of it just in case your recipient moved or you have the wrong address.

Great, but would love to be able to rotate the plates.

It's a great embosser overall. It would be really nice to be able to spin the plates to emboss from the side or top rather than only being able to emboss from the bottom.

Better to buy an embosser that is customized before it gets to you

While I love the product (I have a home library and I like imprinting my books), it's kind of awkward to have to go off-site to a shady looking website to order the customized piece. So, even if you order this with prime and get the product in two days, you still have to order the plates separately and wait weeks for it to come in.

There are a few things I'm not happy about: 1) If you live in an apartment this will give you very limited design options due to character limit. I couldn't use more than half of the design because it wont fit my apartment number. 2) I ordered the metal plate online but the embosser won't lock once I insert the plate (I am 100% sure it's inserted correctly). I contacted Customer Service and they were not helpful and unfriendly. I think something about my product is flawed. 3) The metal plate itself worked fine when it first arrived but after few uses some letters become hard to read. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Go for a cheaper option that might work better than this

Love this but a minor complication

This is all I have been dreaming about . This allows me to turn something average into something great . The embosser is easy to set up and can handle paper and thin cards . I would only recommended doing one single sheet at a time . Primarily, I use this paired with the starburst seal stickers to make the image really pop on letters . The only hiccup is that the creation of the image plate took about an extra week to get to me . They only ship to the states through the automated website . I had to call the company office to set up the delivery . It did cost me extra, but Amazon Canada credited me the full amount . I recommend this primarily to anyone in USA looking to make stationery more personalized.I also recommend this to Canadians if you are willing to wait a little bit longer .
