Smaller than I expected
Clearly I didn't pay attention to the size, but these bags were much smaller than I expected. They still meet my needs, but I wish I'd ordered bigger ones for ease of use.

Good for those of us who don’t like our tea “loose”.
We all know loose tea is messy. Whatever kind of apparatus you use, you’re going to have to clean it up somehow. This seemed to be a solution, though the jury is out just yet. I bought this to make fennel seeds into tea, and it’s working fine for that. I do staple the bag together at the top when I have the right amount of seeds in the bag (I use a scale). Will probably be bagging up all my loose green tea next.

Love 'em!
I've been using these Tea Bags for years now. In the past I've always bought them from my neighborhood Peet's Coffee, but they only carry the larger size. These Size 1 bags are perfect for a single "serving" of tea. For me, that means anywhere from one cup to a larger commuter tumbler. I love good loose tea and I love having a variety to chose from. But I don't always have time to wait for a pot to steep and don't want to have to wash the teapot. If I'm drinking a lighter green tea, then there's no harm in letting it steep in my cup for a couple of hours. Sometimes I'll even refill it with hot water for a second use. I've also never been a big fan of infusers. So these single serving filter bags are the perfect way to "roll 'ur own" and get just what you want. The value is good, the quality is good, and the price is right. EDIT: I'm updating this review, because the product codes for the various sized bags have been merged and all of the reviews are lumped in together. They're very different products though. Size 1: We use these at home. My wife likes her tea a little weaker, so these are perfect for her. She drinks her tea from large tumblers, but this sized bag is still OK for her. For me, these bags really only work for a smaller cup. Size 2: I use these at work where I drink from larger cups (12oz - 20oz). These hold a lot of tea, so they work fine for me. Size 3: I accidentally bought an order of these once. Honestly, they're grotesquely large. These are big enough for a whole pot of tea. I personally don't have a use for them, but if you want to make pots of tea and don't have a proper teapot with a basket inside (or if you lose yours), then these would be the right size for you. Regardless of the size, the quality and functionality is the same. These tea bags work great. They're perfect for lovers of loose leaf tea.

Good size and easy to use tea bags for loose tea
I bought these tea filter bags because I could no longer find the brand I was using previously (don't remember the name) in my natural grocery store. I wanted something in a similar size, and got the number 1 size based on the reviews. I have to say that this size is just right for a good size cup of tea. I buy loose tea, which I transfer to these bags (the opening is big enough to do this easily, but I usually spill a little bit anyway), and then steep in a cup of hot water. I fill only the very bottom of the bag, and have used it two ways. One--leaving the top unfolded, as the hot water essentially seals the opening during brewing, and the bag ends up staying against the side of the cup while the tea gets ready. Second--folding the top flap into the opening and submerging the entire teabag in the hot water: I have actually found that tea does not escape this way, no matter how small the tea particles--there's something about the material of the tea bags that keeps the tiny pieces inside. The filter bags are pretty sturdy, too: I have left the tea bag in my cup overnight, and filled it with water the following morning, and the tea bag integrity was not compromised during the extended brew. The only thing that would be just great if it was added to these filter bags would be a string of some kind in order to pull the bag out of the water easily, but even without that I'm still very happy with this product.

Make your own tea bags and save money
The smallest size 1 is just for one cup/ class of tea and if you’re clumsy, then maybe buy a bigger size to make filling easier. I use them with a wooden clothes clamp. Saves lots of money as loose tea is inexpensive and still able to have the convenience of a tea bag, no cleaning up. Made in Germany!

durability
It is wonderful to be able to buy loose tea and find sacs to put it in. I have used these before and like them. However, today, a gentle push (by mistake) with my spoon on the bottom of the bag put a hole in it. I will have to be more careful in the future.

Pratiche e compostabili
