Good for home gym
Using this to convert a road bike to a home gym bike. I'm not a pro or training for anything. Sturdy for me. The pressure can be changed to make it easier/harder but you do that at the flywheel, not while you're riding. "Noise level" is a very subjective thing - I'm using this in a room that's only used as a gym, I don't notice noise when I'm using this, I can still hear my music.

A Solid Bike Trainer
Overall rating based on the price point; at the < $175 this is a solid choice for a fluid indoor bike trainer. There are much better fluid trainers on the market, but at this price point this is a good quality trainer. If you find it on sale that is a bonus. Despite the sparse assemble directions, it goes together smoothly and you can be riding quickly after unpacking. The front legs cannot be fully extended to the locked position if you have a 29"-er, but it still rides steady, and it is stable getting on and off. If you over extend the legs the 29" wheel will hit the mat and you will grind down your tire and hear much more noise. For 26", 27.5" and 700's the fully extended legs should not be an issue. (It works fine for 29"-ers, just check your tire clearance regularly if it is placed on a soft mat). I wanted the ability to 'grind' at a steady pace and this works perfectly to add some resistance for a long steady pace. It is not silent, but not disturbingly loud -- I measured the sound at ~73 db on my Apple Watch running at about 70 rpm. That is equivalent to a vacuum cleaner, and that sounds about right. Edit: Some additional information about the noise level - the tire I am using is a knobby all-terrain tire so that adds to the noise level. A smooth tread tire will be quieter.

Things to Know
I've been using this stand for one month now, and it's working well for me. A few things in response to other reviews... 1. The assembly instructions aren't great, but the unit is easy enough to put together. Unless you need to install the quick level on your bike's back tire, you only need to mount the resistance unit to the frame, using one tension bar with knob, and one bolt with washer & nut. That's it. 2. Regarding the legs that swing around -- you need to pull the legs open fully and they should "click" into a locked position. 3. As a matter of safety before you ride, ALWAYS check the tightness of the lock collars & knobs holding your bike to the stand. Riding with lots of side-to-motion can loosen the lock knobs -- especially during your first couple of rides. Make sure they are properly tightened. 4. The amount of noise will vary depending on the type of tire tread you have on your bike -- the more "knobby" the tread, the louder the noise. I have hybrid road/training tires that have minimal tread. When I'm pedaling fast, the "whirling" noise can be heard in the next room with the doors closed (both rooms are carpeted), but it's not bad enough to drown out a TV or pair of headphones. Hope this helps. Ride on!

Good option to use for a bike indoor
How do I use it? Outside workout, using a Trek mountain bike. On a raised wood surface, with decent shelter from winds. Like: sturdy, easy to assemble and gives a solid workout option Dislikes: not much. Does what I need it to do. Sturdy = heavy so tend to keep it in the same spot, not dissemble

The trainer is great but the front wheel block came broken
They wanted me to return the entire thing when the front wheel block came broken. Which is ridiculous. So kept trainer and I have a broken front wheel block. The trainer is great though

Relatively quiet and good company support
I attached my trek DS3 to the trainer with the included skewer. It fit perfectly and it was easy to mount the bike on the trainer. It's very simple to put the whole thing together (watch the video). I have never had a magnetic trainer but this one being a fluid mechanism is pretty quiet and it doesn't disturb anyone in the house. It makes sort of a high pitched whine but I don't even need to raise the sound level of the tv when I ride. The wheel moves smoothly and everything is sturdy. I did receive a chipped (or not properly formed) tightening knob and when I contacted the company they immediately sent a replacement. It didn't prevent me from using the trainer but the new knob makes it a lot easier to change the tension. I'm happy with the product and the company!

Great customer service
I was excited when the trainer stand arrived. I found it was extremely easy to assemble, was very sturdy, and was easy to attach my bike. So far so good. Then I jumped on my bike, ready for my first workout, and I was surprised how noisy the trainer was. I thought I must have done something wrong in the setup, so I reread the instructions and made sure I had followed them completely. I had. I jumped back on and again was surprised how noisy the trainer was. One of the things that had sold me on the Sportneer Fluid Trainer Stand was their description of the trainer being "whisper quiet." It wasn't. I reached out to Sportneer, expressing my displeasure at the noise, and Jasmine responded quickly with a few suggestions on how to reduce the noise level. They didn't work. I got back in touch with Jasmine and she asked me to send a video showing the trainer in use so they could hear the noise level. I did. When Sportneer reviewed the video they determined to send me a new trainer stand. When it arrived I set it up, very easily again, and jumped on the bike to see if the new stand was any quieter. It was, but not a lot. I guess my idea of what "whisper quiet" means is not the same as Sportneer's. Don't get me wrong, the trainer is not so noisy that I fear for my hearing, it's just not as quiet as I had imagined. I have used the trainer enough that I am now use to the sound. The best part of all of this is how wonderful Sportneer has been in trying to solve my problem. Jasmine was always quick to respond to my emails and I could tell that the company truly wanted to make me happy with my purchase. For that reason I would highly recommend the Sportneer Fluid Trainer Stand!

Excellent Value
Unfortunately I Fractured my ankle a few months back. Cycling is low impact, and a recommended exercise to get range of motion back, and was definitely something I wanted to be first to get back to when healed / able to. So I started to look at stationary options for recovery (which was going to be temporary). Since stationery's take up alot of room and are expensive, and other fluid traiers at local stores where in the $450-$750 range, I took a chance and purchased this. I set it up beside my wife's rower in the basement. Super easy to set up, Noise level is adequate and expected for a fluid trainer with the road tires I have. It's also very sturdy once set up. I'm 6 ft 200lbs and have zero issue with movement or feeling unsteady. Bike stays were it is and there's no wobble etc (it is set up on a carpet) Now that I have it, and it's as sturdy as it is, I'll use this in the winter as part of our workouts now as well. I'm Super happy with this purchase.

Quality good. Use - straightforward.
Quality good. Instructions clear and easy to build. Only the noise level in use is distracting.

Easy to assemble, works well so far
The trainer was easy to put together and seems to work very well with initial usage. There is definitely some noise but I will get a training tire and see how much that changes it. It's workable even with the noise, I have other exercise equipment (treadmill, elliptical trainer), it all makes some noise and this isn't out of line with those. So far very happy with my purchase.

Great piece of kit! Great value!
I debated buying this trainer versus those more expensive trainers on the market and have very glad that I settled on this! Arrival time was quick. I was initially worried I'd spend loads of time assembling the product, but the Sportneer Fluid arrived almost fully assembled in a brown box. It was packaged very well to protect from damage in transit. Only five minutes to attach the resistance wheel to the stand (one bolt) and it was ready to go. Everything you need to get going is in the box, the unit, the wheel block and the skewer. Easy-peasy replacing the skewer and hooking bike into the trainer stand. It is a very sturdy piece of kit and the noise slightly louder than a low hum when exercising. To give you an idea, I was able to watch tele at mildly above normal volume for an hour while working out. Dismounting the bike is as easy as mounting and the stand folds up neatly for under stairs storage. If you are in the market for a fluid trainer, look no further. Safe a few quid. The Sportneer Fluid is a good purchase!

Awesome
I have a mountain bike and originally hooked it up as is. and while it worked great, it was loud and had a lot of vibration. That was until I put on a cheap road tire slick. Now whilst it's still not silent, it is a night and day in comparison. So anyone saying this trainer is loud, it really isn't , their bike has a loud tire. Cannot speak of its durability. However it seems pretty sturdy so far and has no play in any of the parts.
