good lateral support but stiff horizontal back

the lateral supports were useful and helpful and helped provide stability and prevent leaning to the side which has been difficult to prevent prior to this support. However the person we purchased this for is losing strength in her torso and because the back has a stiff straight horizontal brace and is not concave to mirror the back of her wheelchair it forced her to sit forward in her chair another 2-3 inches which caused her to tilt forward, which created a new problem. Also, because she was unable to sit back in her wheelchair (electric) with this lateral support, she just wasn't comfortable. it would be helpful if the horizontal brace in the back was concave to match her chair. we returned the item.

Holds me in place well

I bought this product because I was sliding around in my chair. It has been very helpful to keep me in place. I use it all day, everyday and would recommend it to anyone!

This product is good because it is adjustable and easy to install. It does tend to slide down on the chair after a few days, so we have to repostion it. It works on a power wheelchair.

This item is useless

We recognized immediately that this item would not be useful in my mother's chair upon opening the box. So I immediately tried to return it to he told there is no refund . I don't have 104.00 dollars to give away for something that has only been taken out of the box and never unwrapped.

Do not purchase

This was not as expected. The back is too rigid with a metal bar and no flexibility. Was looking to ban e a wheel chair patient put was terribly uncomfortable and caused person to pitch forward in the chair. Was not a safe item
