Pots and plants? No problem!

It was this or a $500-$1000 plant dolly I really didn't want to spend that kind of money on. Ordered this with my fingers crossed and it paid off. I will never move plants around the same way again. Worth every penny and more. Compliments to the chef! Great design and affordability, utility, durability, and stability. I can't even begin to describe how much this tool saved me in terms of effort and cost. I'm am completely blown away and feel fortunate I found it, it's seriously unreal. If it wasn't for this awesome dolly I wouldn't have been able to move all of my plants out of our old house's property, it would have been impossible or at least much, much, much more difficult. I've never experienced purchase euphoria like this, I even kissed it. It's worship worthy as far as landscaping is concerned. I can't believe I used to try and lift pots and half wine barrels with my hands and wreck my body, pulling tendons in my arms and elbows, ruining my hands for days. I was able to do so much work with this dolly I'm completely flabbergasted. Such an amazing product!! Thank you, Rubbermaid!!!

hole not helpful

I did read the reviews and the hole is not helpful. I got this to move my plants in during freezing weather. I live on the Gulf coast. We really do not get freezing weather and with a few blankets I can avoid moving the plants. This year was different. First time I used every plant got stuck falling into the hole. I'm wondering why they put it in to start with. I will try putting a pice of wood over it as someone else has done. I do like the rounded back. Once I got the plant on and leaning it all to the back it held the plant just fine. The sliding piece to secure the plant didn't lower down enough to even use it. It is more than steady and heavy duty.

The sliding pot retainer from the top does not slide down far enough due to product design.

Almost Perfect

I like almost everything about this dolly. I use it at my jobsites and all my subcontractors love it (some even enough to wheel it out to the dumpster and empty the Brute garbage can). The only complaint I have with the dolly is the push-button locking mechanism for the sliding can retainers that hold the Brute garbage can in place. They work as designed, but it is kind of an outdated and cumbersome design. It is also not all that intuitive for first time users, like many of my subcontractors are when they first try to remove the can from the dolly. I wish I had a better design to suggest, but I have to believe that a more intuitive and easier to use design could be created to make lifting and lowering the latching mechanism easier to use. Other than that, the dolly is great.

Game changer for the not as strong as I used to be plant lover

We are having a rare Gulf Coast 3 day freeze so the pot plants need to go in the garage. I am 60, female, not in great shape and recovering from hand surgery. I put it together this morning and already have all of the big pots in the garage. It was easy to assemble and moves well. There is still a little lifting and tugging to get the pot up the lip and onto the platform but overall it is a (plant) lifesaver!

Quality product don’t like the big hole

The hand truck seems to be of pretty good quality with solid plastic wheels. I bought this to love around large flower pots so the opening in the tongue is a bit of a problem. Would have been better if it there were a grid instead of a gaping hole. A piece of plywood corrected the issue and works wonderfully.

I can now move big landscaping rocks

I was looking for a way to move big rocks (200 pounds or so). I was very skeptical. But i took a chance. It turns out it is a very sturdy and well made product. Heavy duty and large wheels allowing me to carry the rocks to the desired destination. Use a crowbar to place it on the base. PS:Easy assembly. Would buy it again.
