Easy to use and very conveniate(although a little disappointing for my uses)

i bought this one for a very different use case then its intended purpose: neither my wife or myself have a drivers license and yet we have to shop groceries for 3 people(well,2 and a cute little baby) so i spent some money to buy a 150 liter wire frame shopping cart from a local metalworks factory. i immediately knew i wanted to kit it out a wee bit so along with a p.a horn for announcements,a baby seat mod for the child seating and an identifing signpost to keep would be cart thieves at bay: i also got this lovely speaker,since i needed a way to reliably mount a music playing device that wouldn't need me to charge or replace any batteries and for those reasons,this was perfect; it has a reletivly good quality hook mount which makes mounting it on my shopping cart a breeze and it really only needs its hardwired 3.5mm jack and an audio source slightly stronger then a potato to drive sound from it. unlike other cb speakers,its even stereo so it makes using it for music much nicer. however,the only reason i didn't give it a full 5,which it otherwise defeinitly deserves,is because it has to be amplified in some way to really drive out its sound...normally that isn't a problem: its a cb radio speaker,it is intended to be hooked up to to a strong output radio system by default but for my simple smartphone setup,it simply wasn't loud enough to drive out my jock jams,hence the low star rating. but otherwise, i could not recommend this enough

Good

So my Cobra 29 apparently blew out the speaker because I couldn't hear anybody on it and before I replaced it I bought this cheap little speaker. I was disappointed when I saw how small it was but when I hooked it up it made a difference between night and day. My radio didn't sound that good brand new now and people talk to me on the radio. It sounds like I'm talking to somebody on a cell phone . Zero regrets on this purchase

I just hooked it up and so far it's working great.

I looked for something that would allow me to hear but not lay on my dashboard. It's not heavy and fits nicely on my visor. It's worth the money I spent. It took me about 5 minutes to install and it is loud and clear

External speaker sounds good. Seems to be built solid.

Installed on the overhead console near the factory CB location with a little modification. Original/Factory ext speaker was just as bad as the built in speaker. This little(ish) external speaker solved the problem and radio is loud an clear now.

Second thing I've received from Amazon that the package was open and missing a part.

The speaker works fine but it's missing the tag on the front, packaging was broken open, second thing I've received lately from Amazon like this, like I got someone else returned stuff, highly disappointed!
