So Fresh And So Clean

I don’t normally leave reviews unless something is really BAD or really GOOD. Fortunately, this falls into the latter. I was given a couple vintage Gunne Sax dresses that I had thought were in pretty good condition before. It wasn’t until I soaked them in the tiniest bit of Retro Clean and saw how grimy the water was that I realized they were FILTHY. It was simple to use, it’s a great value considering how little you actually need, and the photos speak for themselves. The dresses also have a much lighter, softer feel to them now, and the old clothes, musty smell is nearly gone too. I was planning to sell these but now that they’re all shiny and new (looking), I might need to keep them for myself :)

Gets out everything!

Easy to use! Gets out everything. My sister recommended it for heirloom clothing, but it is great for keeping my white towels bright white! Amazing product!

Very strong mothball odor!

Product seemed to work well enough, but it has a VERY strong mothball like odor! I am hoping once my item is done air drying that it won’t still smell like that. It seriously smelled up the whole 1st floor of the house ! I was careful to use exactly as directed too. My husband came home and thought I had put mothballs everywhere. So strong it gave me a terrible headache.

Amazing product!!!!

Found a quilt made by my Grandmother in 1955. It was tattered along the edge and the colors were not as I remembered. The appearance was yellow and peach. A dear friend replaced the edging and told me about this product recommended by a lady in her 80s that would bring my quilt back to life. Amazing transformation the quilt became more beautiful than my childhood memories. Brought back to the original beauty of white and pink (not yellow and peach). See pics attached: 1) Before, 2) during processing, and 3) after transformed original beauty.

Best Product Out there For getting Yellowing out of Quilts

My mother is 91 years old and has Dementia and we had to move all her belongings. She has beautiful quilts and table cloths that her mother and her grandmother made, but they had yellowed and were stained. I did my homework/googled how to clean them and this is what I came up with. Retro Clean and Retro Wash. I couldn't believe my eyes. You have to follow the process, but it works!! The difference is amazing.. Picture one with the green head of the little girl you can see the yellowing on the quilt piece. Where on the second picture of the little girl in green there is no yellowing. This was after soaking in the Retro Clean and Retro Wash. This stuff is amazing..

Exceeded expectations

Was trying to get water stains out of antique linens. Used Retro Wash and then Retro Soak. Stains are GONE, colors are brighter. Easy to use.

How to clean an old quilt.

I have been cleaning and restoring some quilts that were made by my grandmother. They are probably 70 years old and I needed something that would clean them without harming the delicate fabric. I used Retro Wash to prewash them and then I used Retro Clean to get out old stains and musty smells. I used a large tote and placed it out on my porch in the sunlight for 48 hrs. following the directions on the package and my quilts look like new. I am very pleased with this product.
