worth buying; i'd buy it again; worth the price.

the reason i looked for a product like this is because after playing tennis for 40+ years, my knees are not what they used to be. they now have a tendency to be sore after playing 2+ sets. i wish i had thought about this years ago but better late than never. it's hard to say any product is great and i won't say that about this product but i will say that it's good. what i like about it: it's very easy to use, it has a pouch to hold the gel that you freeze, it uses velcro so putting it on and taking it off is a breeze; the material seems soft and it's no big deal if it gets wet; i think it's a neoprene material. as far as what i don't like, i honestly can't think of anything. my two cents: IF for some reason, you need to use your wrap and the gel has lost its freeze (15 - 20 minutes?), use ice. i take a cooler filled with ice to keep my beer cold. if my gel isn't cold anymore, i simply grab some ice from my cooler, put it in a plastic bag, tie it and then slip it into the pouch and wrap it around my knee. super simple and easy. in fact, if the gel should get lost or ripped, i'm not sweating it cuz all you need is a plastic bag with ice cubes. note: that top picture is foreign to me. the other pictures look like the product i bought but that light blue wrap that appears to go completely around the leg is bogus. when i put the wrap around my knee, the velcro has about 3 inches of material to grab. in the picture above, it looks like it going completely around the leg. no way, unless you have knees that are super narrow like chopsticks! the important thing is to ice those knees down after playing to reduce any swelling. good luck with your search.

Amazingly wonderful!

My knees have had problems of one type or another the past 10 - 15 years. Different shots in the knees, arthroscopic surgery -- I've run through the list of what all can be done to relieve the pain. These are THE BEST knee wraps I've evern pruchased. When wearing them out of the house I can be guaranteed to be stopped by someone asking where I found them, pictures are taken of the label and the wrap itself, and hopefully they were able to purchase and have 1 or 2 wraps themselves. An extra set of gel pads that go into the wrap are handy to have so when the one I am using gets warm, it can be replaced by another in the freezer waiting.

My go to ice pack!

I loved this wrap so much I ordered a 2nd one! I keep it in the freezer and always use it cold, to ice a sore knee or shin after my long marathon training runs. Believe me, I have SO many ice packs, and this one is THE most comfortable I've ever used. It is so soft and fits so well, I hardly know it's on! I love that the velcro closures adjust to basically any size you want. So it would fit a kid as well as an adult who has a huge leg. It's not only good for knees, but also shins, ankles, arms as well. There is only one thing I found a bit annoying about this. The inner gel pack has seems that are very wide and scratchy/pointy. I had to take scissors and round off the corners a bit so they didn't poke through the fabric and scratch me. This is because I think the gel pack is just a slight bit too large for the pocket it goes into. But other than that, I do love the functionality of this wrap.

Amazing in General but Bad Skin Reaction

I absolutely LOVE these wraps! I use them every day for my knee pain/swelling, and they work much better than other wraps I've tried. They stay in place for the most part (they slide down sometimes, but it's not a big issue), and they are comfortable and cold enough for my needs. I am finding that I've gotten rashes on the side of both my knees from using the wraps, so I'm not sure if I'm allergic to some part of the wrap or if there's something else going on. They are big, itchy red marks similar to bad hives, and they are aggravated at random after use of the wraps (I use them all the time, but the rashes are only worsened by some uses). Anyone else experiencing this? It's so upsetting that I've had this skin reaction because I LOVE THESE THINGS! Like I said, I use them every day, so I'll continue to do so with some form of protection underneath.

Very Good Product!

I liked the wrap because it conforms to the joint perfectly. I've used it for both the knee and ankle (for cold therapy). However, I believe it could be applied even over the hip (but wont be long enough to be wrapped around--still could definitely get the needed cold carry over). Every time I use it, I do get pain relief (I'm a recreational, long distant runner and after my longer runs my knees/ankles sometimes ache). now, don't know if that's specifically from the wrap, but ... I feel great! The gel pack is also a good design, resilient, and just found out it could be purchased on its own. I'm of small stature and have really small ankles, yet this medium size fitted perfectly--that was my biggest fear. I don't have anything negative to say about the product. The seller was therefore very courteous and the product was delivered exceedingly fast. For those, who dwell on purchasing the cold/hot wrap, I think , should give it a try!

Wow. This thing works.

Sometimes a product arrives that is a significant step up from others out there. This is that one. I was a bit hesitant because it did not seem to make sense from the picture. The picture is backwards. The gel as not seen from the photo is located opposite the straps not under them. In the photo it would be behind what you see. My knee has a 15 inches circumference (includes swelling from knee surgery) and the product fits fine to cover nearly all the front of my knee, essentially the areas that need cold. PROs. Soft feel to skin. Area covering the cold gel does not allow the skin to get too cold. The straps stretch and therefore make it fit snug or even compress. Easy on and off. CONs. Show some more photos to describe the product. My only regret is not buying one sooner. __________________________________ I would buy this again.

I have tried lots of these, and this is my favourite. Very cold which is good. Uses velcro on one side, but the other side is just the wrap itself, so hopefully it will keep on sticking, since other velcro usually stops sticking after a while.

I had tendonitis in my upper peroneus longus on the lateral side of the knee and needed to cool the leg a lot. The wrap does a great job! Love it and I use it regularly!
