Easy to use great product

Sizing!

There was no sizing info for this item so I ordered what we thought would fit my daughters chicken legs. This brace would not even fit over her calf! This runs VERY small!

It's snug at first but after it feels great

I was hesitant to buy this after the reading reviews saying this runs extremely small. However this is my 4th Don Joy brace and all the size L fit well, so I decided to try it. At first it was extremely snug, so much so that I thought about returning it. Then I decided to go for a workout in it and after an hour or so it felt more comfortable. On my second wear it felt perfect and fit like a glove. If you're going to buy this bear in mind when you get it that it loosens up a bit after you wear it a couple times. I'm happy I did not return it, it's an awesome patella stabilizing brace.

Hurts the DonJoy brand

The largest size is too small. The top rolls down and the bottom rolls up. The plastic clip on the bottom digs in to the bone below the knee. I went with a similar product from another manufacturer with more size options. This brace doesn’t live up to the Don Joy name.

Way too small

I usually wear a medium (in knee braces) but I read other reviews who said this brace ran a bit small. So I ordered an XL to be safe. Well, I can barely get the XL brace over my knee and it is so tight, it leaves red marks on my skin I think the sizing on this brace is too much of a toss up; purchase with a diff brace, you're more likely to get the right size

Not good for patella maltracking, way to small

Second time trying a DonJoy product and like the first time, its too small. Already ordered based on their sizing chart off their website and its a very uncomfortable and restrictive fit. I have patella maltracking and with my leg fully straight, the side buttresses do not touch my knee at all and instead are lifted up and away from the skin. Don't know if thats because of the brace being too small, but when the leg is straight is when protection is most needed as thats when the knee is at its weakest and the knee cap can slip out of its groove when the knee is being moved into the bent position. I ended up going with the BraceAbility Patellar Brace and that works a lot better for my knee.
