Perfect to prop up corner of cabinet to level the heavy quarts counter top
Our cabinet drawers and doors sagged after having quarts tops on this. This little gem of a tool was exactly what we needed to level everything up as in picture. For $12.00 you can’t beat it. Thank you ❤️

base is too narrow its about the size of a silver dollar
This appears to be made from quality steel but its way too narrow to be "steady" in the lifting foot of a floor jack I will not use it :(

machinist jack
As a machinist I never have enough machinist jacks in the shop. Fabricating a jack in the shop is a simple procedure but with limited available shop time purchasing a ready to use jack was more favorable. Many of the listings online feature similar designs, tapered bases and threaded jack screw. Some of the bases are cast (somewhat crude in appearance), some from stainless steel, etc. Many listings are for bases with a simple general hardware bolt and lock nut (not even machining off the bolt identification or providing a smooth jacking surface. The Pro Series HHIP jacks are simple in design, available in several lengths, powder coat finish and knurled segments. Ends are finish machined for accurate placement and easy to adjust. Highly recommended.

Great buy
Well built work stop. Heavy and larger than it looked. Knurled for grip. 2nd nut helps lock in place so when killing vibrations won’t turn it loose. I could make my own setup stuff like this but China made stuff has really improved in quality and design. You can buy this for about what the raw materials will cost alone. Plus it is knurled with black oxide coating.

Had stretched, metal cable on lamp
Have Restoration Hardware style lamp with pulley and cable; cable stretched, sealed at ends. Light tilts too far forward . When jack wedged between frame and cable, straightens light and allows a little adjustment. l Looks like it's part of lamp.

Good support
These are easier to use than standard machinist jacks. The knurled lock locks well.
