Excellent, bright, well-integrated light

Given the proliferation of e-bikes I was very surprised by how few after market lights of good quality are available. My Diamond Back Union 1 did not come with lights, so I was looking for options that easily connect to the Bosch system so my shop could install it (yes, I could have done it myself, but the bike is still under warranty and was due for a check-up anyway). I love the small form factor of the light and how it doesn't take away from the sleekness of the bike. As to brightness: It is very bright. I know, that's just my impression, but without proper measuring gear, no photo could show how bright a light is. I was initially worried by one review that stated that the light was dim, but even before I had it installed, I connected it to my bench power supply and saw that it is very bright and that it will provide a lot of visibility. It is as bright or brighter than my battery powered lights. I also noticed that current/voltage are controlled well. So even when your bike battery's voltage drops, you won't see much of a reduction in light output. The only con I see is that there is not a blinking/flashing option. That would increase visibility and shouldn't be hard to add. Overall, this light is excellent and I recommend it without reservation.

Wimpy - calling it bright is misleading

The light is not very bright at all. The only good thing to say here is that it feels well-built. Attached photo of spot on wall. This product on the left, a reference 150lm tail light on the right. You'd think they could throw a little more light with a hard wired system. Disappointing, especially given the assurances in the Q&A section that is "bright" and I "won't be disappointed". That said, there are few options on the market for 6v systems, I just hope a reputable manufacturer comes along with something brighter.

The Best Option Available

Much better than standalone battery options. It is bright but it could be bigger and brighter. A flashing option would be nice. The integration with the Bosch system is top notch and makes it all worth it. Get the headlight too. I mounted this on a trike and had to extend the wiring.

Bright!!!

Easy to install on the Bosch motor. Very bright. Did require a visit to the local shop to have it enabled on the computer. Highly recommend.

Small but Powerful

I have one of these hard wired to my Bafang 1000W E-Bike motor, it is paired up front with a LEZYNE E-Bike Micro Drive 500 front light, I'm not sure how the bike shop did it, but both lights turn on at night automatically (The Lezyne has light senor) and I can turn them on or off via the Bafang display on my bike, if I recall correctly, the bike shop had to add the wires to my system because my motor didn't come with them pre-installed.

Awesome Light-Very Bright

Comes with variety of stuff to install pretty much anywhere on an ebike. Light is very bright for just a few LEDs.
