Poly's twister bird perch.

I ordered blue (as shown in the product description) but received brown. I have to have blue as that is what my bird is used to. He is going into a new cage and that in itself will be somewhat traumatic, and I don't want to make it worse. He is an African Grey parrot, and this breed is very sensitive to change. I will order it again as long as the color is blue. Otherwise, these perches are excellent.

Concrete, Twisting Perches

I have this perch for my cockatoo for 4 years and there is nothing wrong with its feet. Our bird seems to like the perch. I just bought a new one from a local bird store because it got totally smooth but I would recommend this item.

very rough

I would be concerned about the long-term use of this perch. It is so rough that I question how it would affect the padding on the underside of the bird's feet.

Pricey but seems well made and unusually my parrot sat straight on it whereas he's usually terrified of new perches.
