That s what I’m looking for after many years I trust Phillips now. I’ll buy another 2 as extras. I braced for “ ouchie” when I begun doing the trimmer but to my surprise no ouchies. It went smoothly . It s perfect.. I’m happy with it

Nothing sharp but this baby cuts every hair

The video of a girl using this so easily was appealing, but I thought, "I doubt it really does the job." Boy, was I wrong. The shaver's head is totally smooth, no fear of cutting your face and it glides over the skin and cuts any hair including tiny ones. A SUPER shaver, trim and lightweight. Love it and I can pop it in my bag when I travel.

Be Careful of the Bite

I have been using this method of facial hair removal for a number of years. My favorite died and was no longer being offered, so I tried the Philip’s. Although it had some nice features, it also had the huge flaw of the razor head biting into your skin more than superficially. It left minor sores. I had not had that experience with any of the other shavers I’ve used. I don’t know whether it’s a law in design or just in construction but I’ll never use it again.

This is an upgrade!

I've been using a "finishing touch" shavers for several years. I prefer this unit to the "finishing touch" shaver. PROS 1) The light goes all the way around the shaving head, so no matter how you position it, the light will be shining in the right place. 2) The tiny mirror is larger and much more clear than the "finishing touch" device. 3) The shaving head is larger, makes quicker work of shaving. NEUTRAL: Price is the same, the device is larger and heavier, but still quite portable. CONS: 1) The power button is trickier than it needed to be. Instead of just having a button, you rotate the battery cover to the left to open it, and to the right to turn it on. 2) The device is less discreet. The "finishing touch" can go in your make-up bag and look like a tube of lipstick, this one is less discreet, if that matters to you.

Wow! It actually works.

I'll be honest... this is the first facial shaver that I have used the actually works. I always thought these tools were a gimmick but Phillips has proved me wrong and held up to their name. I have very sensitive skin and this takes the hair up my upper lip with no pain and leave behind no redness. The mirror and light make it so much easier to maneuver the tool to the most hairy spots in my face and ensures that I wont find a spot I missed later when checking my makeup in the car mirror. Cleaning and using the device is easy. The color is cute and modern. The size is perfect. I am thoroughly impressed and will keep this tool in my makeup bag.

Strong enough to work on a man, very compact and functional

What you need to know: I am exclusively a Philips trimmer/electric razor user. I prefer their cutting heads for a close shave that generally doesn't irritate my skin. This product is exciting to me because when I travel light, it's easier that I don't have to carry a charger or take up space in my bag. Also, the LED light surround is perfect for ensuring I don't miss hairs. So what this particular tool boils down to is one of the 2, 3, or sometimes 4-bladed shavers that men can buy for shaving their faces. The blades are readily available for replacment, and they cut very close, without harming the skin. As I said, this design has been my go-to for ages. Now, this tool uses an alkaline battery which means replacing the battery, rather than charging a built-in rechargeable. For travel purposes, this is actually ideal as it means that you don't require having to lug around a charge plug, let alone an adapter for foreign countries. The cap of the unit doubles as a tiny mirror, and the base of the cutting head has an LED light surround, illuminating the skin you're shaving. You must twist off and tap loose any accumulating hair now and again (if you're a guy, you'll need to do this during each shave). The blades are sharp, the unit is fairly quiet, and it does its job very well. Verdict: Recommended

Effective and compact - super for travel

This little shaver works well and its compact size makes it perfect for travel. It removes peach fuzz and “not-so-peachy/more-than-fuzz” facial hair painlessly, without irritation. It can sometimes take a couple of quick ‘passes’ to deal with facial hair that is not peach fuzz and it is slightly ‘bitey’ if you accidentally catch a longer hair from your hairline (cheek/temples). I find the on/off mechanism a bit odd, as it’s easy to accidentally open the battery compartment when you’re trying to turn the shaver on. I like the fact that a little mini-cleaning brush is included; it would have been great if the brush was designed in such a way that it could snap inside the top of the protective cap (e.g., make the brush slightly wider but with a shorter grip handle).

4.5/5 ⭐️'s I'm a guy and this works well on peach fuzz ✅

???? Overview ???? It's interesting that the pictures on this product targets women only but as a guy I can happily say that this works fantastic on peach fuzz around my cheeks. I've always had peach fuzz and sometimes it would look funky but shaving it off with a razor often left razor burn so I've kept it around. The Philips facial hair remover does a great job at shaving off all the tiny stubborn baby hairs along the edge of your cheeks and can even work with some stubble. With stubble it struggled a bit more however it still was able to shave it down. I have yet to make the device run out of battery but it would've been awesome if the battery was rechargeable instead of a replaceable double A battery. ✅ Pros ✅ - Removed all stubborn peach fuzz and baby hairs along the edge of my cheek - Can even be used to shave but not as efficient - Small and portable with included mini mirror - Long lasting with the AA battery - Easy to clean and includes a cleaning brush - LED ring lights up your skin so you can targe the hairs easier ❌ Cons ❌ - The device is powered by a double A battery which is not the most ideal but if your travelling it might come in handy when there's no outlets available ???? Overall ???? This Philips facial hair remover deserves a 4.5/5 star rating! It is easy to use and does exactly what it says. I just personally wish that the battery was rechargeable instead of replaceable. Overall I'm very happy with the device and I would recommend this to friends and family.

Skin Friendly, Effective & Portable

This is perfect for my hardworking mother who's always on the go with not much time for self-care. It's light, easy for her to operate and portable to fit in her work bag, purse and even pockets. This beautiful facial hair remover comes fully equipped and ready to use on the spot with a manual, 1 x 1.5 V AA alkaline battery and a cleaning brush. It comes with a convenient on the go, close-up mirror on the protective cap and a bright ring light(white) below the hair removal head for optimal viewing. To insert the battery you simply have to turn the bottom until indication "V" aligns with the sliver dot above and the rest is smooth sailing. Indication "O" is off and indication "I" is on. So far I've been testing it on my own facial hair above my upper lip, chin, jawline, forehead, etc. and I'm happy to report no agitation to my sensitive skin. It works flawlessly with repetitive circular motion to remove unwanted hair and leaves my face feeling/looking smooth and beautified. Overall I'm pretty happy with it so i can't wait to see what my mom thinks. I do wish it had a rechargeable option as well and capable of tackling above and below the eyebrows. Maybe design it in a way where the hair removal head can be interchangeable to add another more precise hair head for around the eyebrows. Update(Feb. 20/2023): Worked wonderfully for my mom!
