Grinds aluminum efficiently

These grinding discs for aluminum worked well. The discs do tend to get used up in the process as any disc does, but quite a bit of grinding can be done over the life of one disc. I was grinding continuously on aluminum screw heads and a disc seemed to last several hours.

Awesome grinding on aluminum! Wear safety glasses though!

I haven’t used this much, just a couple of evenings for a project. I bought this to grind round corner for my custom wheel aluminum bracket on a scanoe. Worked as advertised. So far it show little wear. The most important thing that I want readers to know that I’m awful at wearing eye protection. I’m used to grinding steel and usually sparks dissipate after shooting off. Aluminum is different where it shoot out specks, chards so on. It’s doesn’t spark and light up which you typically see with steel. Unfortunately for me I ended when several specks of aluminum in my eyeball and had to get them taken out with needles. Not a great experience to say the least. Fortunately for me I recovered and my eye fine but PLEASE! WEAR EYE PROTECTION!!!

Hard to find wheel for grinding aluminum

Worked as expected. Did not load up or heat up excessively. Would buy again and definitely recommend to others.
