Might work for small cats
In principle these are a good idea. With a small cat or kittens it would probably work. My 17 year old Bengal doesn't squat when she pees so I usually use a deep, top entry litter box. Sure enough, when she stepped into this one she stood there and squirted a urine stream out on the floor. Fortunately, this did not occur in my car. I wound up using her regular litter box in the car for a road trip which worked just fine.

Good for what it is
Did the job! the only complaint is the corners arent completely sealed shut and litter gets throught the cracks, which made a huge mess in the hotel room, but otherwise it was a great size and convenient!

Not leakproof, but usable if placed in plastic garbage bag. Did what we needed for 2 weeks.
This is basically a cardboard box that pops up into this litter box. It was ok for the 2 weeks we were traveling for (stationary in one location - I would not trust this to move from location to location) but really best if you place the box in a plastic bag that surrounds the box. It might be an issue just for my cat, but he scratched the box walls and eventually this destabilized the walls. The garbage bag kept it all sort of contained until the end of our trip. I wouldn't depend on this longer than 2 weeks. I also originally had Pretty Litter in it (that I brought from home) but thought I needed litter that was better at absorbing the liquid more quickly b/c the cardboard box was absorbing instead.

It’s ok
It’s ok and a good idea, unfortunately it keeps collapsing on itself and ended up being useless.. so had to buy a regular plastic one in the end

I’d recommend
I ordered two of these for an 8 day vacation trip including a 9 hour drive there and back and an overnight stop. For the first one, it lasted for the drive down pretty well and prevented too much litter from being flung around inside of our truck. We ended up having to tape the hole in the back because litter got through it pretty easily with my cat’s wild cleaning. I used this for two cats and ended up having to buy another litter box for our Airbnb about 3-4 days in because it was hard to scoop out the pee without pieces of the box coming with it from the pee penetrating the box so much. Like I said, this was used for two cats so it may have worked better with only one cat. I didn’t expect it to last too long, so it did what I wanted. I also didn’t use the provided litter. I used regular scoopable litter. I used the second box for the drive back and then an overnight stay, so it worked well for that day or two. It helped minimize the smell of their urine and poop a bit and definitely kept a lot of litter in. The first one broke and was hard to keep up in the truck once my large cat decided that it’d be a good idea to climb on it. Overall, I’d buy it for travel again. I’d definitely use the recommended litter next time to see if it’s last longer though. It’s not the sturdiest, but the second one was a bit sturdier without my cat crushing it.

Used for travel
Easy to put together but tip collapses easy with curious kitties.

The box is convienent and easy to put together. There is very little mess outside the box if any.
easy to assemble. Catches most all the scratched litter due to the enclosed sides and top.

The Perfect Travel Litter Box
I’ve had to travel with my cat several times over the years, and litter has always been a problem, especially on multi-day trips. This has made my life so much easier and I’ll never buy another travel litter box again. My cat loooooves to dig in his litter. Sometimes, I think he was an archaeologist in a past life. He kicks litter around like he’s at a New Years Eve party and he’s drunkenly tossing confetti. This box did a great job of minimizing the mess while still letting him attempt to strike oil. Easy to assemble, it took less than five minutes to have everything popped up ad the litter dumped in the pan and ready to use. Clean up was super easy, too. When we were done, we just reversed the pop up process and it folded back down into itself so we could just drop it into a garbage bag. No trying to hose down a dirty plastic pan (ew) or trying to clean up thousands of tiny rocks that have formed an asteroid belt around the box (also ew). Much easier than what we even do at home! I was concerned that he might pee through to the floor - the litter box is just cardboard, after all. Not exactly something you’d want to try to sail across the ocean in. To my surprise, I never found a leak. And believe me, I checked. Whatever is in that litter is very good. For a little additional stability, you may want to use the top of the box on the bottom or top of the cube. It makes it a little more sturdy. The litter is non-clumping, and I thought it was a little dusty - but I have asthma and I’m a little sensitive. If you need to travel with your cat, buy one of these. It will make your life so much easier.

Great for temporary setups
Had to relocate with my cat for a few days to accommodate a home renovation project, so I bought this to take with us. Setup took minutes and the cat took to it right away. Only negative and it's a small one people have already mentioned is that the "box" part for the litter crystals isn't really all that deep so if you have a digger like I do you'll wind up cleaning crystals that wind up everywhere. If the box was even an inch or two deeper it might be better - I wound up putting it on top of a large bath sheet to try and catch the random crystals.

For small cats, low hole in back wall
I only need this box to work for 24 hours but after looking at it in person its a no go. Its small, I'd say kittens up to about 6 pounds might be ok. There's a hole quite low down on the back wall so you can't put much litter in. The instructions on the website say you can use any litter, however, the box itself says only use their crystal litter. There are gaps once you set it up where the walls meet so there would definitely be leakage. Too many issues for us. This is going back.

Works great. Absolutely recommend!
I used this for a long distance move. Both of my cats took to it immediately in our hotel. One of them even used it in the car! I'm even switching to crystal litter now, as my fussier cat had even better bathroom habits while using this box!

It's a cardboard box that isn't very stable
I'm not sure exactly what type of cat would be able to use this without it falling over on them. I bought this for a 2-hour road trip, and the one time my cat went into it to use it, it collapsed on them. It's an extremely basic design, aside from the coated cardboard I can see nothing that makes it special and it was not worth the money paid.

not great for bigger cats
The hole to climb into is a bit higher so my two bigger cats had trouble getting in. Also it's not constructed well so cat pee leaked out of the tray after the third day. It's a good idea though and was convenient during my temporary moving situation.
