Lasted almost 3 years!

This product is pretty awesome. Super easy to install and use, and does it's job well. Bought it in March of '20, and it still pretty much works, but the tension that holds it to the rod has deteriorated to the point that if you drop anything on it, or have hot water running at full tilt hitting it directly, it will drop and close. I really can't complain since it has lasted so long, but, you know, took a star off for this reason. I am ordering a replacement, and I will be just as happy if it lasts us for another 2.5 years.

Perfect fix

This is an excellent fix for older sinks that are showing wear and tear around the drain opening. Hides discoloration and early signs of rust. Installs in minutes without having to spend time under sink trying to make all components match. Well worth the price!!

This drain stopper is easy to install and reasonably priced.

I used special metal cutters to cut the stem to size. It's much nicer than the stopper it replaced. The thing I don't like is how the top part of the stem collects crud that has to occasionally be cleaned off with a brush, but I guess that's to be expected. What I would like to see in the future is a stopper with a bright blue top instead of silver.

6/26/2019 I am a single woman, not inept at minor home repairs, but I have no skills for anything major. I’ve never even changed a faucet washer, that’s how unknowledgable I am in plumbing repairs. So I was quite sad when my powder room sink stopper broke (it would have to be the powder room, wouldn’t it, where all my guests can see my ugly broken drain stopper). The top part snapped off from the part in the drain a couple months ago. I’ve been avoiding an expensive plumber repair call since then. But a rubber stopper just does not cut it in a nice guest powder room! Finally it dawned on me to search for a repair stopper on Amazon. Would that I had done that sooner!! The repair stopper by PF WaterWorks arrived yesterday, but I was illogically a little (kind of a lot, really) terrified that I’d screw something up. I know I saw a short and clear video on how to do this when I ordered the part, but I couldn’t find it today. But the pictures on the back of the package are pretty clear and the step-by-step instructions are very clear. There’s nothing o be afraid of. In a matter of two minutes I had the stopper fully installed. And what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a stopper that works perfectly and looks like the original. Amazing!! After my installation, I filled the sink half-full with water and it does not leak one tiny bit. This is a WOW product. I wish I needed to use them all the time cuz they are perfect and so easy to install. Of course, I’ll probably never need another one. But you cannot go wrong with this. What a great and inexpensive way to fix your sink stopper.

An interesting design

This stopper is a cool design but on my sink the the plunger slips. I think this is due to some rust/corrosion in the drain so it may not be an issue for everyone. I will work to improve the sink it is installed in to see if I can make it improve. The sink it is installed in usually does not have the stopper closed so it will work just fine for years.

This product is pure genius.

Why didn’t someone come up with this before. The bathroom sink is a dirt trap that usually doesn’t drain properly because of the usual type of raise and lower plug that inhibits water flow and cannot easily be removed for cleaning the debris. This plug is sleek in design with no protrusions to inhibit water flow. It is easy to insert, adjust and remove. Only time will tell if the self clamping mechanism will hold up but at the price it won’t break the bank to replace it every few years.
