This coil was identical to the one that was on my riding mower and installed with ease.

bad ground somewhere

fit on 24 h.p. briggs with no modifications. problem, motor doesnt shut off when key is turned off. bad ground somewhere. product does fit and work as stated. I have problems else where evidently.

I swapped the original coils back and it will shut down just fine. I troubleshot the diodes in the kill wire ...

These coils will not work with a twin cyl. Briggs and Stratton. I replaced both coils to these and the mower will start, but will not shut down. I swapped the original coils back and it will shut down just fine. I troubleshot the diodes in the kill wire and they are fine. For the fun of it I put these back in and the same problem came back. I cannot recommend this brand.

HORRIBLE item, BAD description

I tried and tried and tried to call these people to ask about the dual cylinder issue and never got a return phone call. I purchased them and everyone else is right. They start up and the only way to shut the motor down is to use plyers and unplug the wires from the spark plugs directly! HORRIBLE item, BAD description, ZERO customer service at all! STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNK!!!
