Also for Security hardwired doorbells

This is an EXCELLENT choice for those whom don't want to hire an electrician to hard wire a security doorbell. Simply cut off the plastic clip and attach the wires from the doorbell (doesn't matter which wires connect with each other, no color code needed) As long as your doorbell requires hardwire with a doorbell transformer up the 24 volt, this works excellently.

Orbit B-Hyve Power Adaptor

Unfortunately, the product didn't exactly match my previous Orbit B-Hyve power cord, which had no easy plugin for the power adaptor. I had to cut off the end and strip the wires to use. No problems.

Works great!

Works great for my dual panel James Hardie sprinkler system after old class 2 transformer burned out. It had the following parameters: INPUT: 120 V AC 60 Hz 18W OUTPUT: 12 VAC 14.4 VA So INPUT outlet 120 V AC, frequency of the OUTPUT doesn't change so it's 60Hz on both sides which is standard. My OUTPUT doesn't current spec (in mA) - but easy to figure out if 750mA in the one Amazon sells is enough for me: Maximum output volt-amp. rating 14.4 VA (OUTPUT specs on my old, broken transformer) is just a result of multiplying the OUTPUT "24V" by the max OUTPUT in mA. So my desired output in mA is 14.4/24 = 0.6A = 600mA so yes, 750mA is more than enough in my case and, indeed, it worked just fine. Hope it helps!

24 volt power for RainBird irrigation valves

I modified an existing (manual) Hunter irrigation controller with the addition of a custom microcontroller so that I could control and schedule the irrigation valves over wifi using my whole house automation system. The existing transformer was unplugged as I did not want to alter the current system by cutting wires etc. An ESP32 microcontroller connected to a 4 relay board provided the control that was needed. The relay outputs were then routed to the existing connections for the four existing RainBird water valves. This transformer provided the power to operate the valves.

High buzzing in recordings...

I used the power supply for a video doorbell. It certainly powered it nicely without a mechanical door chime, but the video quality was mixed. The picture was great, but the audio had a very loud buzzing sound. I tried improving the wire connections, but was not successful. I eventually bought another power supply with a 2 amp fuse rating. The higher capacity eliminated the noisy buzzing in the recordings. This unit can power the video doorbell, it is under powered for the a proper audio recording.

There is no connection adapter included! You may have to modify the connector.

The package picture and the feedback suggest that there is a connection adapter that comes with inside the package. This is false! there are no such connection adapter that is included. This means you would have to modify the connector in some cases to make this work!
