MUCH Better Packaging Than the Last One I Bought
You can't use this on hardwood floors, it will scratch them. Linoleum might be ok but this mat is meant for carpeted floors. I've bought 2 of these previously to use at home & they usually arrive in a very narrow box, rolled into a tight tube. Pulling it out of the box was always difficult & it would take 2 days of laying the mat out the floor with boxes or some other heavy objects placed on all the corners before it would lay flat so I could slide it under my desk. This one arrived packaged in a larger box so it was basically folded into thirds, not rolled into a tube. It was easy to remove from the box and I only had to lay it out for a couple of hours with a heavy box on either side before if flattened out. My only real complaint was the awful plastic smell which took all day to dissipate. Other than that, this was a good deal.

This is a very strong office chair mat
This is a very strong office chair mat. I recently purchased my 2nd office chair mat. My first mat lasted me 5 years before it started to get bridle and started cracking on the edges. I thought it was time for a replacement and I thought this mat lasting 5 years was well worth what I got out of it. It comes rolled up in a very well secured packaging when it arrives. All you have to do is unroll the mat and place it on the floor where you need it. Let me add by saying it does take a little elbow grease to get this mat unrolled for the first time. You have to man handle it a little to get it opened. The mat is going to want to close back to its roll form, but as soon as you get it flat on the floor you will be fine. I would suggest walking around on the mat once you do get it unrolled for a couple of minutes, because it will try and close up and go back to its original roll form if you don't. After a little time spent on top of the mat and getting it formed to a flat surface, you won't have any issues with it rolling, it will remain flat. This mat is prefect for carpet, it does have little spikes that hold it in place, and makes it very secure on carpet. An office chair glades on top of this mat like you're on a cloud.

Seems to be durable
I have only been rolling on it at the office for a few weeks, but it hasn't cracked, so I would say so far, it is durable. It does come TIGHTLY wound. They suggest that you leave it in the sun to soften. That was good advice as I think if I tried to unwind it, it may have cracked. It does have a very strong plastic, chemical smell, but it dissipated when left out on the porch for 2 weeks before I tried to put it down in the office.

Cracked!
The mat came in a rolled pack. It was very hard to unroll and make it flat. It cracked within two months of use! I think the mat is so old , it became brittle and started cracking . The seller's customer support is not reachable.

It Works but it took 2 days to lay flat
I got it quickly and was thrilled to begin using but it was packed in a tight roll. It took two days with heavy weights on all sides to get it to finally lay flat. Wish they could ship it differently.

This will never be flat due to how it is shipped.
For some reason the manufacturer or distributor opted to have this product rolled up and shipped as a tube. This may not sound like a big deal since hey, most mat-like items probably ship that way. However, given that this item is made of such a tough plastic this creates two major hurdles: The first hurdle is that unrolling it to lay down is borderline impossible, and is definitely impossible as a single individual. The material is so rigid and is fighting so hard to return to its original tube-shape that it is pulling against you with incredible force as you try to unravel it. Meaning that if you release it at all it snaps back into its tube shape. It took me and the wife working together just to get this thing unrolled to lay on the ground without it violently springing back into a tube shape. The second and more damning hurdle is that it means this thing is never going to be flat. After the battle to get this thing laid down on the floor we tried standing on either edge to try and get it to flatten and you can feel it constantly fighting against you. I have now had this down under my computer chair for two months and both sides are STILL raised/curled because the only way you could really flatten them and keep them flat would likely be to lay a heavy beam on either side to leave it for days until its shape changes. Otherwise it's a pretty standard hard-plastic desk mat with gripping teeth on the bottom. No better or worse than any other one I have had. If they just shipped this thing flat it would be fine.

Smaller than I thought, slides on vinyl floor
I bought for my desk chair and it does protect the vinyl floor, but it is fairly small so you can't move more than just to stand up. it also slides a lot on the vinyl floor so you have to keep repositioning it. It works though.

Too thin
It is not easy to move when I sit in the chair since the pad is too thin. Ikea's pad is much thicker than this, but ikea one doesnt work nice for carpet tho.

Comes rolled up
The is a quality product delivered in good time. But it comes rolled up! The plastic is thick and it really tough to get it unrolled and properly flat. Its been almost a week and the mat still doesn't sit flat, despite rolling it the other way and placing heavy objects on it.

Cracks after 6 months and doesn’t stay flat
The mat is shipped rolled up and will never completely flatten. It will also eventually start cracking and leaving behind plastic shards after 5-6 months. I am using this mat on medium pile carpet, but it will crack and curls unlike what they advertise

Perfect For Under My Rocking Chair
It was shipped flat, not rolled up in a tight roll. So I could take it out of the flat box and put it right into use. It is thick enough to protect my hardwood floor from the rockers on my chair. It doesn't slide but if it did, I'd just tape it into place. It's almost too big but I simply put part of it under my other chair next to it. Wish I had bought two of them.

Just what I ordered!
I needed a carpet protection mat for my home desk because of working from home, and its great. Was very stiff, and needed to be warmed up to unfold, but does the job I bought it to do.
