Such a Great Project with Kids!

I will start off by saying that I have 7 year old twin boys, and got them each a quilt set for Christmas. This set is truly awesome with everything you need. The little tassles already come with a small slit, so you have so many option on how to tie the blanket together. We just went with the traditional double-knot, and it was a ton of fun. Lots of good practice for kids who are learning how to tie their shoes! There are 6 options for different patterns you can create, and it came with detailed instructions. It was a ton of fun to have each boy choose what their blanket would look like. It was definitely a labor of love and took quite a bit of time to finish, but my boys are so proud of their new blankets that they created (almost) all by themselves! Something that I think they will treasure for a long time.

Fun activity but not durable

For an activity it was a fun craft to do, but as far as quality and durability as a blanket... not so much. It ended up coming apart with time and use.

Unique gift ... and fun, too!!

I purchased a blanket for a young cousin’s birthday. Turns out, we bought a total of four because all of the kids wanted to make a blanket!! This is a fun family project. The blankets are soft and cuddly. Even if you buy the same color blankets, the designs can be made differently making each one unique! Easy to assemble.

Fun!

I got this for my 9 year son for Christmas. I normally get the kids a nice blanket or something snuggly for the winter but I thought it would be fun for him to make his own (and fun for me to watch)! I’m excited to see what it looks like done— it looks like it will be really cute.

Better than expected

M&D isn't the brand I usually go to for quality. This set, however, is better than I expected it to be. The fleece isn't dollar store thin, the instructions are clear, and the child can choose from several patterns or create their own design to make this blanket. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

One of our best gifts this year

I ordered this blanket for my daughter and we made it in a couple of days during free time. It was fun, everyone helped tie including Granny and she loves it! It’s a nice big size, not like a baby blanket. My son loved it and I’m ordering another for him! I think it’s a really fun and practical gift for kids who enjoy crafts. You definitely need to help....there is a lot of tying. We loved it!
