Worked good, would benefit by having elastic at the top
Just processed 3.5 gallons of honey with this. It worked good, but would have worked a bit better if it had elastic at the top to hold it up around the rim of the bucket. I had to have someone else hold up the filter or else it would have just fallen down in the bucket.

Was able to remove a few ants that got in my honey
I had about a falling of honey left in my 5 gallon bucket and some ants got in it. This caught the ants and all the little debris that the bees left

We got this even though the bee store said "it takes long and it's a lot of work, and it's not necessary., etc.".....WHAT A LIFESAVER this turned out to be! We were going to just do linen or muslin, but forgot about the lint problem that would create. We spoke to other beeple and got answers all over the place on whether this is necessary for final strain on extraction. I'm glad we did it anyway. We ran the honey through the metal strainers twice which has two different gauges. This is 400 and it really clears the end product up. It didn't take long to get through this last filter if the honey was strained for wax and debris in the metal strainers 1st. This thing was stretched over a 5 gallon bucket and maintained integrity with no stretching, tears or other malfunctions. We haven't tried to clean it all the way yet because we're still doing frames. But even if it is disposed of after one season....worth every red cent. Highly recommended.

Most useful bit of honey equipment I have!
I agree with the reviewers who say a drawstring would be nice, but after trying a couple of alternative filter setups (metal and plastic bucket strainers) I still give this one 5 stars. In fact, I'm back to pick up a couple more bags, because I use mine for everything (right now it's anchored with little magnets and serving as a floating "safety net" in my sheet-pan syrup feeder)! The best thing about this bag is that you can still snap your honey bucket lid on over it while it's draining; this makes life SO much easier when you're just processing a frame or two (no honey for you, ants!). It's also great for feeding leftover honey and letting the bees clean your cappings. I just knot the top, hang it from a birdfeeder hook on a limb, and come back in about two days. The cappings are clean as a whistle, and no one gets stuck or drowns. As the other reviewers said, it's also stupid-easy to clean. Turn it inside out, brush it off, and throw it in the washing machine. Finally, it filters better than any setup I've tried, and it's just so simple. Genius! Please never stop making these!
