Perfect organizer

I am a tool junky and organizational freak. I have tried several pliers organizers and this is the best. I had one for a year and it was holding up good, so I recently purchased the second one. The two fit side-by-side with a 1/4" to spare in my toolbox drawer and they never move around.

Good product

Works very well and would definitely recommend over wire metal racks that you normally see. Would recommend.

Really only useful for smaller/thinner handle pliers

Doesn't really work for the newer style "comfort grip" handles or any larger/thicker handle pliers. Also not really that great for longer pliers. If you have a lot of "old school" pliers, mainly 6-7" in length it works great. In my case, of about 40 various pliers, only 3 actually fit well, so sent it back. Better option if you are like me with plenty of variety is any of the wire style - just be sure to get a version that has both standard and wide openings.

Who would have that I would REALLY like this plier tray!

I bought one plier tray because I was using a 36" x 21" toolbox tray with all my pliers spread out in it. Also, it was only 2" in height. I decide to get this tray and swap out my screwdriver toolbox tray which was similar in dimension, except 3.5" in height. By swapping tools into different toolbox trays, I was able to turn up my pliers and use this new plier tray. I also was able to use my new screwdriver trays, which were sitting around for a year without use. All in all...love this tray, it's super sturdy and will laster forever. Now you need one...or two.

Just what I needed. I was looking for something for all of my jewelry tools . This is perfect - I didn't want something that was going to take up a lot of room but, have enough slots for my cutters and etc. This is perfect. Very happy with it. Shipping was 1 day late and that was fine Amazon notify me so all good. Thought it was sturdy enough for my needs. Thank you for a great product - just what I needed.

the good - for a plastic rack

First, the good - for a plastic rack, this is very well-built. It's not flimsy or lightweight like you might expect, it's rather dense, solid plastic. It's heavy enough that it doesn't want to slide around the drawer even when empty, provided you have a drawer liner - on bare metal it will slide as its bottom side is smooth plastic. The downside is that if you intend to use it to store pliers, you may run into issues depending on what grip style your tools have. The tray has three slots on the left that will accommodate pliers with wider comfort grips (Irwin pliers, for example), while the other ten slots are slimmer and only fit pliers that have thin grips (see Wilde pliers as an example of this style). The thin-handle slots are further divided into five wide-exit and five thin-exit slots, where the thinner exits really only do a good job of handling needle-nosed pliers as slip-joint or lineman pliers don't really fit in the exit groove. The reason for all this is that Lisle seems to have designed the rack with wrenches primarily in mind, rather than pliers. I can imagine this rack's design would do a decent job of organizing flat wrenches, but for pliers it just seems like it's not well-optimized and if all your pliers have thick grips you're probably only going to fit three of them on this rack and spend some time wondering what you're going to use the rest of the rack for.
