Great little backup light.

Have this in my edc bag. Added a red filter to it. Rechargeable 123s are a must. Not overly powerful but good throw, good run time, great construction.

Still has a little green to it.

I like the metal feel to it. And the length is perfect. Beam quality is great. Surefire does perfect on that. It doesn't have a distinct circle of hot spot. And spreads out evenly. Throw is not bad for the size of the light. Battery life should be as expected. Haven't had it long enough to kill original batteries yet. And rcr123 will work in them. Light still emits a little green tint. If u look at my photo on the far right is the P3X Fury, I was disappointed with that green tint. On the middle is my G2X Pro 320 lumen version. It emits a perfect white light. On the left is the 6PX Pro. I love the simplicity of these Surefire lights. One button is really all u need. If u have to toggle between buttons for different levels it ain't tactical! My primary use for these lights are tactical duty and EDC cary. If I need illumination for a long period of time I use my Thrunites as a Utility light.

Good all around light

This is a good all around light. The tactical is good for short range room searching with a pistol as it provides good flood capability with a hot center. The tactical only operates on high power. The Pro I would only use as a regular day-to-day flashlight due to low beam being the first option when the switch is pressed. The pro is great for maintenance work or just as an all around light.

An excellent, rugged flashlight from the industry leader in illumination devices.

I bought this as a gift for someone as I know SureFire makes solid products. The 6PX might be their entry level flashlight/torch but it is a rugged product, well made and customer service from SureFire is top notch.
