Simply the best!!

I have a 5 year old girl and 11 year old boy. I have yet to find anything that they both will play with and then THIS came into our lives. For starters, my 11 yo son has been done with legos or any toys for that matter for years. If it’s not a video game he’s uninterested. He saw his sister playing with this, joined in, and asked for his own. I promptly bought another. They both play with this for hours with NO TEARS (remarkable for my 5 yo). It’s easy to figure out and very cute & clever. Would make an awesome gift for boy or girl in the 5-11 range. Highly recommend!

Clay arrived hard. What a bummer....but we fixed it!

The book is cute and has great ideas for creating cute clay sculptures. However the clay was rock dried out. All the bags had filled with air, which made the clay unusable. Too bad since I saw a snow storm was coming and let my daughter order it. We were going to use it for art today for home school. **I’m editing my comment and changing to 4 stars... because, we were able to salvage it! I put each color of clay in its own baggie and spritzed it with water. Let it sit for a few hours. Then kneaded it. Clay became usable again! My daughter made the cutest clay veggies. We have since ordered more air dry clay from a different source on Amazon. I would have given 5 stars if the clay came already usable. Very cute ideas in the book.

i love klutz kits, and so do my kids

Klutz has amazing product managers. These kits are wonderfully thought through, constructed, and designed. My children love opening these kits- we currently have the bakeshop and the grocery store. There is so much delight packed in these kits- if your children love hands on activities, enjoy eating and making foods, then this kit is for you. The directions are clear, well thought out, and the end results will be sure to please and bring a smile. My kids have spent entire afternoons building their grocery stores and all the cute vegetables to fill them. I cant recommend this kit highly enough, along with the other products and kits that Klutz makes. I always look forward to getting these for my children and their friends.

Easy instructions, cutest creations, hours of fun.

This is the cutest, most fun toy I’ve ever seen. My daughter (6), my son (8), and I have all been having so much fun with this set. I couldn’t imagine our creations would come out nearly as cute as the pictures but they did!!! The instructions are incredibly helpful and easy to follow. My daughter spent her piggy bank money on this and she was so proud that she spent her own money on something we’ve all been enjoying so much. We added the adorable little food toys to her kitchen & supermarket in her room and we will continue playing with them. I’m very happy with this and I’m going to buy this set as bday gifts for her friends.

Dried up

The media could not be loaded. Bad batch? Things happen I understand, but all of the bags were dried out before we got to use it. My return window closed before we realized too. Unfortunate, we love the Klutz line.

First time it came everything was dried out and the second time we ordered it, half of it was dried out. Other than that, it was a great item to play with

Would have been a five star rating if every color was usable

Would have been an absolutely adorable kit! However, we ordered one and several of the colors were already spongy and dried out. So I returned it and had them send me a replacement. Again, one of the colors was unusable. When you only get such a small amount of each of the colors, every color matters! Dark green was used in so many of the projects that we felt limited with what we could ultimately create since that color was not at all usable. Very disappointing since this was something that my daughter used her birthday money on.
