Does what it is supposed to, though it could adhere better after first use
These scar treatment strips are honestly quite nice, easy to apply and use, and do what they are supposed to do. When first new out of the package, they stick well and blend in decently (I am using mine on my neck where they are visible so I didn't want them sticking out too much). Per the package, you should be able to take the strip off, wash it, let it dry, and then re-use for 2-3 weeks (I think that it is 3 weeks per the package insert but I don't have it in front of me to verify). The insert states that as the strip dries that it will regain it's stickiness so that it can be reapplied. In actual use, though, I found that after the first use and washing it per the instructions that it just wouldn't stick like it needed to. It worked for the first application but after that I ended up using some cloth tape designed for medical use to keep the strip applied. (This said, on a flat part of the body that doesn't flex, it might stick a little better but on my neck it definitely didn't.) Because the packages states that it should stick but I found that it didn't stick like it should, I deducted the rating star. Overall these strips are quite good and they do what they should do to protect the scar while healing; however, just be aware that they won't stick as well after the first time. I've been glad to have them and hope that they help reduce the scar visibility as I continue to heal.

Seemed to help at first
I got this at the suggestion of my occupational therapist. I have a permanent plate with screws in my arm and had scarring from healing my index finger nearly severed by hitting the horn thinking the other driver wouldn't hit me. He did, the airbag deployed, and my life got turned upside down. Maybe the longer version would help my arm more, because this did significantly improve the carpal tunnel release done with the other surgeries to reduce swelling and loss of movement at the wrist. But my wrist, sadly, still has an ugly, thick and sensitive scar. My OT and surgeon said it may just take longer to heal since it was such a large incision necessary for setting the bone and applying the plate. Definitely follow the directions about washing, or at least rinse it every time after about the second or third use because otherwise it will fall off. Still may fall off, so if you can wear a compression garment, or in my case a tube to hold it on overnight, it can improve the results. Otherwise, it shifts or falls off. I bought 2 boxes, so I'll try again and update my review if it helps the big scar in the future.

Ehhh
Not sure what's really different about these compared to cheaper options. They slide around with moisture accumulation. Easy to lose. Ive used cheaper ones to the same ends.

Lots of relief and better looking skin
I'm using all sorts of scar treatments as I had a horrible skin infection on my forehead, started as inner flat cysts and was a condition I developed for over a year, wearing masks at work, in hot and dusty environment. My skin was heavily damaged with lots of holes left and rough skin but it gets better each day, I keep massaging for months now. One thing, while Mederma cream did not work as well for me, my skin got more itchy and no improvement, these patches help so much. If I sleep having them I don't feel them, and in the morning my forehead is soft, skin looks beautiful and hydrated and after applying make up stays like it all day. Some days in extreme cold and dry weather when I was at home working and bending a lot, my skin would start looking bad, wrinkly, it's still so tender and my pores don't work, neither to produce sweat, or small hair that used to grow. The other day I applied the patch for just an hour or so, it tightened and popped up my skin and for sure the scars are less visible. I do feel that my condition is improving and I subscribe to use them all the time. Only thing, they don't last more than one use, if I wash them, they will peel off over the night on the corners, and that is where some of my scars are, and not do the whole trick. I save them by cutting them and not using the whole patch at once.

Perfect for healed cervical incision
6 weeks post op from having neck surgery and this fits perfectly over my incision. It feels so good on the incision site and allows me to massage the area without actually touching my incision. I can't say it's helped with scarring just yet, but the comfort alone is worth the purchase.

Surprisingly makes a difference
You can't wear it around all day, in fact at night it often comes off. But it does make a difference!

Totally fixed scar. Falls off easily
I love this product. I got bitten on the nose by my dog and was worried about having a big scar in the middle of my face. I used one of these cut in half and put it on my scar for about 12 hours. Then it fell off. Now my scar is almost completely healed. This is wonderful.

Works
Helping to fade the scar from a cherry angioma I had removed. I feel like it’s definitely making a difference in how it’s healing.
