This cable grab released at 1,800 lbs. did not perform as advertised.

Used this on a 5/8” cable to verify strength of the connection points. Need to get to 3,000 lbs and the cable grab consistently released at about 1,800 lbs. Did not perform as advertised. It is very well constructed

Right tool for the right job

Although technically a wire rope puller it works perfectly for pulling grounding rods. The cam grabs securely even under wet conditions and muddy rod or rope

Bought this to pull 300+ ft of 5/16 dia 7x19 galv. steel cable for constructing a zip line...don't try this without using a Klein grip! Pro's: heavy duty construction, locking arm keeps cable from sliding out of grip when not under load, easy to use, affordable, made in USA, durable zinc finish, received this in less than 7 days from the US to Ontario, Canada (Amazon.ca was out of stock)...awesome customer service! Cons: none really - just wear thick leather gloves when operating to provide protection from pinch points. Recommended !

The Best Zip Line Tool!

The Best, I say again...The Best...zip line cable tensioner for hanging an adult sized zip line. Could not do the work simply without this tool. Safe, extremely well built(American).....no regrets at all!!!!
