and those are much better quality than this faucet
Installed this faucet a couple of months ago. Meh, it's an okay faucet. I've done a few bathroom renovations and have used Price Pfister and mainly Kohler faucets previously, and those are much better quality than this faucet, and install more easily. Surprised to only see a 10 year warranty on the finish, but that seems consistent with the overall quality, which I'd rate as fair. The valves are quarter-turn, apparently ceramic, and don't have quite the smooth action of the bigger name brands. There's a little slop between the handles and the stems, so you can move the handles a little bit without the valve stem actually moving. Not a big deal, but again, this is a lower-quality faucet than Kohler, for instance. The biggest issue for me was with installation; I've installed a lot of faucets, and never had this sort of problem with undersink leaks. The instructions indicate that you're supposed to apply Teflon tape to all of the fittings, which sounds crazy, as they aren't tapered (pipe, NPT) fittings, and it's clear that the bottoms of all the female parts have gaskets in there that actually form the seals. So again, straight threads, so no need for tape, right? Wrong. At first I just put some pipe dope on there because I had some, but don't use pipe dope! What the tape does is lubricate and fill the space between the threads so that you can generate adquate pressure on those gaskets at the bottom to form effective seals - it doesn't actually seal the joint. If you don't use tape, they'll leak. So as silly as it seems, you do have to tape the joints. I think better, tighter tolerances on the fittings would prevent this (and this is why I've never had these straight threaded fittings from other manufacturers leak like they did on this faucet). There are definitely better-made faucets, and I would have bought one, but this is a very classic style and this is pretty much the only manufacturer out there that makes something that looks like this.

Beautiful!
The perfect replacement for one that broke! It works beautifully in our historic 1927 bathroom to match up with combo original and vintage reproduction. The nickel finish is period correct, and the style is timeless! Hired a pro to install. Couldn’t be happier with this choice! Nicely packaged/shipped too.

Hot and Cold cartridges are NOT interchangeable
This brass faucet looks and handles very well. However, be advised that the hot and cold cartridges are NOT interchangeable and in order to turn the faucet on, one must turn one handle clockwise and the other counter clockwise. This is counterintuitive. To correct this, one needs to purchase another "cold cartridge" to replace the hot cartridge. I purchased the installation as well. The plumber will install a new cartridge upon receipt and I would rate him with five stars if I could.

Faucet Arrived Intact Despite Not Sealed or Wrapped Package
Feedback to the company, at least use packing tape to seal the box closed before putting in the mail. Even better would be to put it in a mailing envelope so product wouldn't be so obvious for someone looking for a brand new $206 bathroom vanity faucet. I was shocked that all the pieces were still in the box and that it ended up at my house at all.

Beautiful but defective
This is a very nice quality faucet. I've been a kitchen designer for years and couldn't find this faucet for a better price, even at wholesale. It's a beautiful addition to our newly remodeled vintage remodel in our own old farmhouse. However, it was months between receiving the faucet until we installed it, and we've discovered that there's restricted flow in the cold water outlet. The faucet will need repair. I'm disappointed, as I did not see any indication in the listing that the faucet had problems. The price was wonderful (although I did notice that the next one listed after my purchase was a LOT higher...I should have been suspicious). I won't expect any corrective action from the seller, because I waited so long to install it and I understand the business. Had I been aware of it right away, I think I would have simply returned it for credit. Hoping it won't cost us a lot to fix it! Lesson here: ask questions if the price looks too good to be true! Shame on me.

Overall really great quality, I'm very impressed and wasn't expecting it to be as nice and heavy as it is for the money. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bottom side of the drain assembly is just brass, not chrome plated. So if you're using it on a pedestal sink where the drain is exposed it's a bit of an eyesore

This is a nice set but in my application the supply hoses kink and can easily restrict water flow. Not sure what the solution is for this. For now I am just dealing with what I would consider a lower flow than ideal.

Looks great but had immediate problems
Looks great but drain assembly leaked and faucet dripped upon installation. Had to get a new drain assembly and the new one did not leak.
