Self installers-read below

The antique brass is beautiful. For self installers, read the following and save yourself some time and headaches. When you install it as listed in the instructions, the cold handle will turn clockwise and the hot will turn counterclockwise. This is not the normal way for people to try to turn these handles. The instructions tell you to to “rotate the right stem stop assembly 180 degrees” to solve this. After scouring online and finding nothing, I finally called the company. I was told that they hear all the time that the handles turn backwards for this particular model and that the instructions are generic and that sentence with the solution doesn’t apply to this model. Glad I spent hours trying to figure it out. If you’d like the handles to turn in the correct direction, their recommendation was to buy new hot and cold valve. I asked them if I could simply switch the hot and cold mechanisms since they both turn the wrong ways, and she indicated that I could or I could just buy new hot and cold valves. I thought this was too expensive a product to go out and replace large portions of it before ever using it, so I switched em and it works fine. The one with the red tag goes on the cold side if you want the cold handle to turn counterclockwise which seems to be the way everyone wants to turn it by instinct. It’s quite a lovely faucet once you get past that fun blunder.

The only ding I give them is that the quality control is not perfect so each had minor finish imperfections (the oiled bronze) .

Very solid and well made. This is the second I have installed; the first was the oiled bronze. The only ding I give them is that the quality control is not perfect so each had minor finish imperfections (the oiled bronze) or nicks (the chrome), but overall these are fantastic faucets for the price and I would definitely buy again.

Perfect retro look

This was the only faucet I could find that looked like my older one that was broken. It has exactly the retro look that I wanted. It was hard to install and the hot button fell off but the plumber put it back on with silicone.

Great classic style

Love this faucet. Has a nice heft to it. Looks great in my bathroom. Classic styling that should last a long time in my latest bath remodel. Can't say anything about the install because I didn't do it. I know my contractor had to go out and buy something for the sink install, but I'm not sure if it had to do with this faucet in particular.

Just what I had hoped for.

Seems like quality. Installed them and they look great. Hopefully they'll last for years to come before they start dripping and need to be replaced. So far so good.

Excellent faucet

Excellent retro look and finish! Looks fantastic in my renovated bathroom. My home was built in the 1940's era. This faucet set was the finishing touch that added an authentic look.

This faucet is just as described, it seems to be of high quality and pretty simple to install. I love the color and out fits well with the other oil rubbed bronze things in our bathroom.
