High quality
I feel like these were really expensive but they do a great job. Used with a variety of OD lines/materials and it grabbed on to all of them with no leaks. Release seems to work pretty good to.

Straight forward
Easy to use. No leak. Push all the way in. Most of the cases that people claim leakage for JG fitting stem from that they didn't push the tubing all the way in.

Works
I accidentally destroyed one of these not knowing how to disconnect a hose to change the filter. It was impossible to find the right brand. There's a lot of cheaper options on Amazon but I wasn't willing to risk it given it's got water running through it continuously.

PEX to LLDPE
Needed to run a water cooler line from the sink. Sink was installed using PEX 1/4" lines - the T that came with the cooler only handled 1/4" OD lines, and 1/4" PEX is 3/8". Thought about re-plumbing, when I came across this jewel. Easy (1 minute install), no leaks, appears secure. We'll see how it does over time, but this was exactly what was needed to connect PEX to tubing.

I used this to attach my refrigerator to my reverse osmosis system. Be sure to take extra care to insert the plastic line fully into the fitting.

Work great but takes a little patience and practice
These are great as is all JG Speedfit stuff. I'm not sure there is a huge difference between these and other compatible quick.speed fittings. I have used 3-4 different brands and I love them all. I kind of think any failures have been due to user error. Best thing is use a very sharp razor blade to slowly cut all your tubing - cut perpendicular, cut slowly and nice and clean - let the razor do the work by rocking it back and forth. When you put these together - you will push it in until it stops, then push harder and you will feel it go in another 1/8 inch or so. Once you get the feel for it you will know - the first stop is not fully inserted.

Like the other two reviewers for this item, I needed this to hook up my RO system to my fridge. Prior to finding this piece, I spent close to a hundred dollars on parts from Home Depot and Lowes to try and accomplish this task, not to mention all the lost hours with nothing to show for it but a puddle of water under the sink. Admittedly I should have looked to Amazon first for this part, but I thought it could be done without it in about 5 minutes flat. As you already know, it was a disaster. I ordered this part, and it was a life changer. I installed in less than 45 seconds (no exaggeration) and I could not be happier. If you find yourself needing to hook up your RO system to your fridge, then this is the piece for you.

Time travelers must've delivered this from the future!
This is like some miracle from the distant future. You can literally cut a water line and splice in an ice maker in WELL UNDER 20 SECONDS!!! If you're in a hurry and have sharp scissors, I bet it can be done in 10, or ever faster. As easy as this was (cut, push, push, push), I expected leaks and that I'd have to take the tee out and resort to traditional plumbing methods. NO! It really is that easy. No leaks. First time. I was amazed and kept checking for leaks, but there were none. Not even a drop. It's from the fricken future!

So far it installed with no issues or leaks and I have a 1/4" line running off of the main 3/8" line
