Fun for clever cats, too
I got this for my cat, who learned to play fetch using ping-pong balls. The miniature tennis balls are actually the perfect size for her--like the ping-pong balls, they are just barely small enough to fit in her mouth, and too big to swallow accidentally. She also likes hooking one of her front claws into the tennis ball fuzz and flinging the ball into the air, something she couldn't do with the ping-pong balls. So far, she has enjoyed chasing the tennis balls as they roll out of the iFetch (this particular toy doesn't actually launch the balls--that's a separate toy--and instead uses gravity to randomly roll the ball out of one of 3 openings in the lower section). My cat brings the balls back maybe 30% of the time, and seems like she might be on the verge of figuring out how to drop the balls into the top of the iFetch to roll them all by herself, but we'll see. I bought this when it was on sale, and even though my cat seems to like it, I probably wouldn't have paid full price. Until my cat learns how to load the tennis balls herself, the iFetch just isn't that much better than throwing the balls myself.

Show & then let go. Let them figure it out on their own.
The media could not be loaded. Bought this for my crazy hyper, needy little Morkie Lucy for Christmas. She loves it alot, but seems to enjoy watching us put the ball in the iFetch for her more so then her doing it herself sometimes. I think we showed her a few to many times how it works. Constantly barking at the ball and looking at us to put it in there for her. After some coaxing she will the pick it up and put it in there herself. We then decided she's only allowed to have it when we're at work. Now when she sees us getting ready to leave she goes right to her toy box and waits for us to take it out and leave lol only downfall is the balls. Due to her being such a little monster she rips the felt off of the balls and they're not solid. They're two halves put together. She destroyed them and it made a HUGE plastic and felt mess all over my living room lol Wish there was another ball option out there, but it seems all of the balls small enough are all those mini tennis balls with the felt on them. If anyone finds another option let me know please & thanks in advance! Would have given 5 stars but the ball itself and it not being so durable is the reason why I only have 4 stars.

Item was returned
I thought it would have a little more uumpf when the ball came rolling out. It definitely doesn't shoot out and doesn't come out with any force, therefore didn't go very far. I have a really hyper and active dog, this just wasn't going to work for her, so I had to turn around and return it, the day I received it.

This is not worth 50 dollars, no way. Balls just roll out. Sorry I bought it.
Not worth 50 bucks

Small house+small dog +ifetch=good buy
The media could not be loaded. My ???? loves fetch. I have a small ???? with small rooms so getting a machine that chucks a ball into the air was not feasable for me. The i fetch rolls the ball out of the bottom into one of three possible directions by gravity. This seems to go far enough for my pup. She is enjoying it this first day of use. ???? I hope to teach her to use it herself for when I am away. It comes with 3 balls that are smaller than mini tennis balls so if your dog eats them up you will have to buy these specific ones. ???? Overall I am pleased with the purchase. ???? I will update if balls or machine does not last as this was not a cheap toy but definately worth it if my pup continues to love it????

Product ment for very small dogs
It was a nice concept but more ment for small dogs . The small size balls concerned me for my size dogs. I also not fond of tennis balls my dog acted like she wanted to rip the ball up. With that said if you have a small dog and one who does not want to rip up the balls this toy is good for the right dog .

Inventive and fun - for the right dog
I love it - but my 18 month Havapoo shows little interest - alone - that was my point in getting this for her to play alone. she knows how to drop the ball in the top, she’s done it quite a few times, and she doesn’t care if she does it again. It takes me dropping the ball in and then she’ll run and go get it. Don’t let that stop you! For the money it’s really fun! Good way to spend some time with pup!

Lackluster
So, I was super disappointed in this. My dog seems to like it okay and I'll work with her on how to put the balls in, but it only spits the ball out maybe a foot. I thought the balls would come out a little more excitingly. But it's just kind of a ploop out. So, she's a puppy and learning so it's fine, but had I know this would be how it was, I definitely would not have paid this much for something that seems a bit lackluster.

Don't bother
When I first ordered this item it did not arrive. The Courier service did not leave any sign that they had been ( like a card or note ). When I phoned Amazon they refunded my money which was fantastic. I reordered the item because I really wanted it but when it arrived the product left much to be desired. For the price I payed for this cheep item, just no! If you want a similar item the just buy some cheep piping and some tennis balls and train your dog to drop the ball into the hole. I assumed it would spit the ball out after a 30 seconds in any direction not just drop and plop. The star is for Amazon refunding me twice for this item, Zero stars for the product and courier service.

Can’t see the point?
Really can’t see the point in this you put the ball in the top and it rolls out the bottom , Thought this was mechanical & would fire the ball out ..!, you might as well throw the ball for your dog .

Not worth it!
We thought this would be great for our dog but when the balls baiscally roll out of it, the dogs found it boring. The dogs were more interested in the balls themselves than the contraption that's supposed to toss the balls for them. This is insanely expensive for what it is. You literally drop a ball in the top and it slowly rolls out. We used it on tile flooring and the ball maybe rolled a few inches out of the device before the dog would grab it. Unimpressed.

This thing is not safe for dogs over 10lbs
The size of the balls make it dangerous to use for anything other then like a chihuahua. I have a 30lbs poodle and if I allowed him to play with it he’d have a huge risk of choking due to the balls seriously small size. I was expecting smaller ball size but not small like a cat toy… sending this back
