This thing motors

I was shocked at how quickly this thing moves on the bottom. I was dreading getting into my above ground pool to clean it after winter this year. I lost my cover and we had a ton of bad weather which left my pool in serious disarray. I ordered this on a hope and a prayer and seriously I am more than impressed. It took a couple of days and several full vacuum compartments later but I have a clear pool just in time for 90° weather. I was able to run it and charge it twice in one day then charge over night with a full battery the next day to run like a champion the next day. I don’t have large debris that gets into my pool so I am not sure if that affects the performance. I do have long needle pine and it would stop mid run time because of the “obstruction” in the vacuum. I did my best to scoop out the large leave and needles before I ran the vacuum. I am overall 100% thrilled with this vacuum and would recommend it to anyone in my type of pool situation.

Good product. Cleans well.

This vacuum has worked as it should. It seems to clean pretty well. When the pool is dirty, you'll need to keep an eye out for it to stop so you can clean the filter and get it back running. The filter will need cleaned frequently at first until the pool is clean, then the vacuum will run longer between needing the filter cleaned. Run time is around what's advertised. I'm happy with my purchase so far.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!

This vacuum does not work the way I expected it to. It has a VERY LIMITED capacity, and stops after one trip across our 18 ft. pool. I spend more time dragging it out and cleaning the filter than it does cleaning the pool. I really don’t see using this as being more convenient, or less labor intensive than my old vacuum, that hooked up to the skimmer. I have to return it. It makes no sense to keep a $200 piece of equipment that simply DOES NOT PERFORM. So disappointed! Several times it has been very difficult to get the top off to clean it. I regret this purchase.

The suction is not strong enough, which makes it unclean, and the price is more expensive than other stores. I originally thought that the more expensive ones would be better, but in the end I was disappointed and returned the product.

Very Simple, Maintnance Free

This unit is very simple and works "almost" flawlessly. The unit itself is very simple which should allow it to run for a very long time. In reality it has 3 pieces which consist of the top and bottom plus a very oddly shaped filter. The Plastic seems to be of a high quality and in reality the only moving pieces are the wheels (which are free rolling) and the water jet doors (of which there are two). the unit works by sending a jet of water from one side or the other and has a mechanism to tell it when it hits an obstacle and then to reverse. While it will start to climb a wall it is not intended to do so which means brushing the sides is a must. The vacuum power is excellent however this does not hug the ground and so might miss some heavier items or silt. Silt is a problem for this cleaner as it does not hug the bottom and so therefore will not suck from irregular bottoms on account of the spacing of the whole unit (this should not deter you from a purchase of this machine because the purchase price is so affordable vs. some of the more expensive unit that while doing more also have more to go wrong. I ran the unit twice and the run time was about 60 minutes the first time and 65 the second so it does get a good cleaning cycle going and would clean most smaller pools in that time period. It can get stuck repeating the same track if you have stairs in the pool and so I wish that adjustments could be made to the flow of the water jet stream (direction) so that it shifts further on its course (my pool is larger then most and is an in-ground with sloping bottom). All and all for the price and the simplicity of this cleaner I see it doing work weekly on my pool in concert with my suction side cleaner that runs daily.

Works great

I have a couple of pool vacuums off with similar price points and this one goes very well and hold it on. It’s pretty mI have a couple of pool vacuums of with similar price points, and this one does very well and hold its own. It’s pretty much ready to go out of the box just charge it up first. You gently place it in the water, let it do it today, and when it’s finished, you just use the included hook and pull it out. It will definitely collect debris and cleaning. Is it as simple as pulling out the filter and rinsing it off. Given the price point and effectiveness I would highly recommend.
