Exceptional Quality
These are great for working at the computer, especially for those with light sensitivity. Much better than standard blue light blocking glasses. Really high quality as well.

Quality reading glasses--blue light filter is a plus
I used to work with this guy that refused to spend money on reading glasses. He was in his late 50s and needed them to read anything but he said that the went to the Dollar Store twice a year and bought a dozen of them. To make it even worse--when these poorly made glasses invariably broke he'd cobble them together with paper clips, fishing line or whatever else he could find. Little did he know that *everybody* talked behind his back about his shabby reading glasses. It undermined what little credibility he had. I learned a valuable lesson from that guy--you've got to go with quality reading glasses. I bought the pair I just replaced at the Vancouver airport--I paid like $60 CAD for them but they were built like a tank and lasted for two years which is an eternity for reading glasses. Unfortunately, they broke before my current trip to Denver so I ordered these and had them sent ahead to my hotel. I have an identical pair in a different magnification to use on the computer but figured that I might as well use them for reading too. I probably don't need the blue light filter for reading books or whatever but no harm done. Most importantly, my peers look at me with awe and admiration because I take my reading glasses seriously unlike my clueless former colleague. My only gripe really doesn't have anything to do with this product--I wish Gunnar made more of their styles with magnification. And, yes, like any other glasses they'll break if you don't take care of them. That's why you've got to get a hard case for them like the one in the picture.

Great glasses
Great glasses. Can tell they are helping as eyes feel more rested. Frames good and sturdy.

Nice glasses but just too darn fragile
My first pair arrived busted around the eye frame. I did a return/replace and had a replacement in no time. I wore the replacement for about a month and had to return/replace them. Just yesterday I tossed the 3rd pair on the counter and the frame around the eye piece is again busted. I'm past the window of a return. I wouldn't buy another pair due to the this issue alone but if they weren't so fragile I would give them a 5 star. No glare, yellow tint isn't to obnoxious (necessity for blue light). and fit and weight real nice. as a note the glasses have busted in the same area each time so it's just the eye piece that seems to be weak.

Once you wear blue blockers, there is no going back
Once you wear blue blockers, there is no going back. They have become my "all day" reading glasses now. They actually have reduced my frequent headaches & tired eyes. Well worth the investment. What are you waiting for?

Nice clear lense. No distortion . Comfortable fit. Ugly frame

Blurr
These appear to have a prescription of sort which I did not realize when ordering and work differently with laptop/computer vs phone. Laptop - I can only see with them if my face is extremely close to the laptop and larger screens & the screens look concaved. Otherwise everything is a blurt wearing them. Phone - The screen is magnified. — Overall, I’ve tried them for a few days on and off, and question if they are more harmful than good. For me, maybe they help with the phone but not laptop for which I originally purchased them for…

Moving On
I will start off by saying that I really loved these reading glasses and that is why I was willing to spend more on these than I normally would for a pair of readers. That being said, I have bought 5 pairs of them over the past couple years and I am finally just DONE. I get it, glasses break with constant wear, taking them off and putting them on again 12 hours a day. What finally has me saying "no more!" is the fact that the 2.00 readers have all of a sudden doubled in price. So what was once expensive readers at $57 a shot are now a ridiculous $106 for the same glasses that I will have to replace. They DO have a warranty, but the cost of shipping is prohibitive to taking advantage of it. I thought I would try buying the cheaper 2.50 readers and swap out the lenses, but the 2.00 lenses just fall right out. As I sit here I am looking at 3 pairs of useless Gunnar Optiks readers while wearing a $6 pair of readers from a local store. Save your money folks, you can do better.
