good quality

I purchased for a BBQ Raffle basket. It's good quality however, I didn't see the color was blue/green and not red as shown in the picture. So a little diappointed since it didn't match the rest of the basket items.

Not as pictured

The mitts that came aren't like the picture. They aren't flared at the cuff like the picture, and I can't get them on when I'm wearing a sweater. They are brown, not silver. They are nice and thick and extremely long (too long), though. Disappointing.

Even my dog loves them

I do a lot of smoking (meats not tobacco or the whacky stuff) and these are perfect for moving the inside parts of the smoker around during the smoke process. The tips of the mitt really do hold up well to high heat and I've never felt warmth come through them. The only problem I've had is that my dog found them after one smoke and there must have been some juices on them - because she tore through them in what I can only imagine was a quest to find some smoked pulled pork. Afterwards the mitts were nothing but pieces so I came back and bought more. I have also learned not to leave the mitts where my dog can get to them - I don't want to have to buy a third pair.

best bang for your buck

its a grill mitt. it protects your hand. and it was cheap (bought it when it was $5). also read the description. it says black & blue, and thats what I got. they need to update the picture (picture shows red glove).

tore first day

I bought this glove for using with my smoker, but when I took my smoker box out of my smoker it melted right through my glove. The quality isn't very good but the heat resistance is.

I highly recommend

Gave this to my dad as he is an avid barbequer. He absolutely loves them. He works with grills and a smoker and uses these without issue. I highly recommend them
