Look great, don’t spin

These look great, but they do not spin. Not even a little bit. I’d buy them again, just know they are purely for looks

Beautifully crafted

I was amazed at the quality of this product. I don't usually write reviews, but this is solid copper, and so beautifully crafted. I'm going to hang it on my house tomorrow. I can't wait to see the water traveling down this rain chain. it's reassuring to know that there are still companies that take pride in making special items that will be enjoyed for many years.

Disappointed in the quality

The soldering is very crude and obvious on all the rings. It’s fine from a distance, but this hangs near my front door. Would have expected better quality for the price. Also the hanging system does not cover the little bit of downspout from the gutter, so it looks odd hanging out of a silver pipe. The water mostly falls from the downspout edges and not down the chain.

Really Beautiful

These are beautiful and are copper, one of the loops had green tarnish on it, but a little brasso took care of that. The largest loop is slightly larger than a coaster and each one inside of the next gets smaller and each loop spins when water strikes it. Each loop spins in a circle or tumbles over the outside one, really nice. Each spins or tumbles independently of the others. We purchased small rain barrels and placed small stones inside to collect water.

Like jewelry for the house

The rain chain is a lovely option for the front of our house. When faced with having to put a downspout right in the middle of the front porch to have more efficient gutters we did not want to have that . Using the chain is different and effective. It is like we added a piece of jewelry on the front of the house.

Absolutely beautiful!

The rain chain I received from Amazon (via Good Directions) is absolutely beautiful! Although I had a hard time deciding on which chain to purchase (I thought about getting the chain that has the little cups...so cute, too!), I am happy I went with this one. The design is lovely, as is the quality of the copper. It is exactly what I wanted and it exceeded my expectations! I can't wait to have my husband install it as soon as this winter weather is over!

Look great and easy to install

They are really pretty and easy to install but they don't turn... still pretty

Did not work

Water hit the top two circles the sprayed everywhere. Also after the first use the chains became spotty and discoloured. I expected it to change over time, but not look like it had a disease after the first use.
