Broken during shipping...every time

I bought two of these mirrors a few years ago. Great looking mirror and got lots of compliments. Unfortunately, the contractor installed one of the mirrors incorrectly and it fell off the bracket and broke. Since then, I have ordered a replacement mirror 10 times and every time, it gets delivered broken. The packing does not protect the mirror (which is already thin). I called Gatco and they said there is nothing they can currently do and that they are apparently working on that issue. When will this get resolved Gatco??

Solid Framed Vanity Mirror in Polished Chrome Finish

This vanity mirror was the finishing touch on our master bathroom remodel. We had 3 other mirrors from the same manufacturer shipped to Lowe's but each of those arrived broken! Those were frameless and had thinner mirrors but were packed exactly the same way as this one. This one was almost 3 times the price of the others but I decided to give it a try to see if it could make the delivery directly to our home address. Thankfully, the 4th time was charm! This mirror looks and feels of good quality and is the perfect accent to the wife's vanity area.

Perfect mirror for my new subway tile bathroom.

I just renovated my bathroom and searched for a long time for just the right mirror for my subway tile bathroom. This one was perfect! The mirror arrived quickly and my contactor’s crew put it up in no time. The mirror is very well made, considering the price is much lower than similar ones at Pottery Barn and Rejuvination. I was hesitant to buy it based on some reviews as I wasn’t sure that it would stay in place and not tilt in its own, but no worries at all. Some mentioned it was tricky to clean since it pivots but I held it steady with my left hand while cleaning and it was no issue at all. Very happy with this purchase.

Very HARD to install but looks great.

Beautiful looking once it’s installed but this mirror is REALLY difficult to install correctly & level. There’s no template included and if there had been, it would have made installation a lot easier. Also, the tiny tiny set screws barely seem sufficient to hold the weight of a mirror. This feels like it needs to be cleaned with absolute kid gloves to avoid it coming off the brackets and smashing. I’m going it survives in our house but frankly I have my doubts.

It's fine...installing is a pain

A template for install would have really helped. One of the mounts cracked during install when I was trying to get it to hold the mirror piece tight enough. Customer Services as prompt and helpful and sent a replacement part in ~7-10 days without question. Once it is up and locked down it looks ok, but had a problem where the first time Ii thought it was locked on to the cleat it wasn't and accidentally came falling off the wall on me when I went to adjust something. Even after install getting the chrome side pieces that hold it to the cleat to look level is tricky, takes some adjusting and never gets quite as good as you want it to look.

Couldn't be happier with how this turned out on my wall

Couldn't be happier with how this turned out on my wall! I have half tile running up and needed something that would span the two different surfaces and this worked perfect. The only thing i would caution people with is that it is a little on the heavier side so not sure that drywall only will work (it might, I really don't know) I was able to find a stud to put one of the clasps into. Installation wasn't too bad but did take me a little while to figure out. Some take aways I have: measure the distance between the screws and level out the brackets on the wall you will save yourself time and pain later. Also the allen wrench you need to tighten the bracket comes in the screw packet - have fun tightening once on the wall. Enjoy the mirror this is not a bad price either, and was worth the money for me.

The mirror is easy to install. Basically connects in the same manner to the wall like a towel ring or toilet paper dispenser.

Decent quality. Nightmare fuel to install.

The mirror is decent quality. I was worried about it's ability to stay on my wall given the way it's secured, but it's been up for six days now and so far, so good. The product itself is exactly as i expected. I will say that the installation process was a nightmare. The instructions for installation are printed on the box exterior. Took me a minute to locate them since there were no instructions in the box. There is no template provided and the brackets that attach to the wall must be installed PERFECTLY or you'll have to drill new holes (which happened to me). The finale of the installation nightmare was using a 1-2mm allen wrench to secure the very heavy mirror to the wall. It is impossible to do with one person, so have a friend ready to help.
