Bright colors, easily put together, hours of play time

The media could not be loaded. As a parent, I was extremely happy when unboxing that everything was in the box that was needed to put together and mount. All screws, wrench and screw driver was included, as well as double sided tape that goes around door mount to protect. Basket ball as well as pump an needle. There is nothing else that you need that is not in the box. Back of backboard is also lined with foam to protect against your door. There is no metal touching your door and you place double sided table on the door hinders and the back already has the foam. The backboard is of a plexiglass plastic sort of material. The rim is of thick metal with springs and metal plate on the back to provide an extra protection for rough play. I do worry that the backboard will crack as that seems to be the only weak part of unit. Would of loved to seen that built thicker than it is. On my door, it did rattle a little during play that you can see from video. I did end up making a tighter fit by carefully bending those door hinges so they were a tighter fit against the door. Overall happy with look and construction. I would suggest on a revised version to make backplate thicker, with cross bars to provide a sturdier construction.

Better Quality than Most Over-the-Door Backboards

If you're looking for a nice over-the-door basketball goal set, the Ryan's World one will deliver. It's noticeably more break-resistant than most we've owned. Easy to set up, and designed so that you'll be less likely to cause any damage to the door. Our Little Girl has plenty of fun playing with this one. Even though nothing makes my Wife's nerves more bad than wondering what a stray ball may end up knocking over lol. Our Daughter is a big fan of Ryan's World, so we specifically ordered that backboard. I noticed Franklin Sports makes the same quality kind, minus the design, for about twenty bucks less. We love Franklin Sports, been buying their products for years now. Everything they put out is quality, and this goal setup is no exception. Just keep in mind that you're paying an extra $20 for the Ryan's World theme. So if you just want a quality hoop set, order one of the basic ones for just $24. In our case, our Little Girl wanted something from Ryan's World, so it made sense to get this one. Just something to keep in mind when shopping for one of these. But she likes it, we're happy with it, and would recommend it.

Very sturdy baseketball hoop for indoors

This is a small basketball hoop that you can easily install over a door inside your house. It's actually really sturdy and I like how the hoop itself is metal although the backing is plastic. Overall it's very sturdy and I'm very happy with it. The plastic backing has foam strips on the edges of the back so it's soft on your door. The basketball itself is pretty small (great for a 5 year old) and the hole of the hoop is also appropriately sized. It's not big enough for an adult sized basketball though. A hand pump is included and although the ball comes flat, it actually didn't take much effort for my 6 year old son to pump it up with the hand pump. The ball is textured like a real basketball and feels like a real one, not like one of those toy basketballs you get for toddlers. Overall I really recommend buying this. You won't be disappointed. Pros: - Great price - Hours of fun playing ball. It's a huge plus that it's Ryan's World. My kids are huge fans. - Real basketball appropriately sized for little kids - You can dunk on it! Cons: - None yet.

Plexi board, and metal hoop

So this thing is pretty sturdy, and it has lots of foam so it won't scratch up your door when kids are using it. The ball is rubber and the perfect size for the hoop. The board is made of plexiglass so it's unlikely to break even with rough use. The Ryan print is bright and colorful and any (ugh) Ryan fans should love this set.

Your Ryan fans will love this! From uniqueness… Not so much. From a durability… Not so much. That being said my grandson is a huge Ryan fan and he loved it. The price was fair.

We like it

My son loves this hoop set. It keeps him pretty occupied for a good amount of time. The lights are a nice feature as well. Easy to assemble, however, I question the durability being that the backboard is made of hard plastic. But for now, this product is a go.
