Alright so with this game, it's cute but is cheaply made. Also the scoreboard doesn't really seem to work.

Fun for the whole family!

My entire family consisting of 5 kids ages 2-15 really enjoyed playing with the Franklin Sports NFL Electronic Football Target Toss Game-Over The Door Football Throwing Target for Kids. It has sounds like a cheering crowd and an LCD Scoreboard to keep track of the number of targets you hit. Its adjustable and easy to use. You can hang the targets over any door and adjust to different heights. It has multiplayer option. So you can play alone or play with teams. The set includes a 33" football target, 3× 6" mini footballs and an air pump with inflation needle. Requires 3 AAA batteries that are not included. This is an official licensed NFL product . My family loved it

Throw away the instructions

This product is a rectangular target with seven scoring circles for 6, 3, 1 or negative 1 points. An electronic display (requires three AAA batteries, not included) keeps track of the score and has a countdown timer. Three mini-sized footballs are enclosed for throwing at the circles. Played according to the instructions, the game is not much fun. If you stand within about 12 feet, you can hit any desired target all the time. The game becomes one of how fast you can retrieve the footballs (or with a little practice, you can throw them to get six points and catch the rebound). There's no strategy, because the low and negative point circles are not close to the high point circles. If you stand farther back so it's a challenge to hit a circle, you'll either hit your targe or get zero points, you rarely hit another target. In any event it quickly becomes tedious. A better game is to play for an exact score path--say to get 10 points, then down to 8, then up to 16; all before the buzzer. This requires a little more thinking, and using all the circles. Another good game is to have two players both throwing at once, with the first player winning on a final digit of 0, 1, 3, 7 or 9 and the second player winning on a final digit of 2, 4, 5, 6 or 8. Of course you can pick different goals. You can play with three players as well. We also play an untimed game where two or more players throw alternately and the winner is the first player to hit an exact total, such as 10. With a little imagination there are lots of fun games to play with this. We also had luck using air guns that shoot foam balls.

Hmmmmm. Not what I expected.

I ordered this Franklin Sports NFL Electronic Football Target Toss Game for a 13-year-old. Although it is "something to do" in the cold northeast winters, it is not what I expected. The scoring is not designed for this to be played as a multi-player game. I would consider it to be more of a tool to promote hand-eye coordination when the weather does not permit outdoor play. I also think it is more suitable for somewhat younger children (perhaps ages 8-10). At the current price of approximately $35, this makes a good novelty toy. At the listed retail price of $75, I would never purchase this item!

Cheaply made

I was excited to give this as a gift to my grandson but was disappointed in the overall quality and performance of this product. The electronic score board although fun and engaging, didn't seem to tally the scores, it just seemed to make noise and get excited. Sometimes this is all you need to please a 7 year old, but if I give a gift, I want it to perform as it promises.

Awesome For Kids Room

This makes a great gift for someone who is a football fan. It comes with target game, footballs and an inflator pump. All you need is 3 AAA batteries. You hang it on the door, set how many players, the time and start hitting the targets with the football. The game keep tabs on your touchdowns and when the times runs out it displays your score.
