Broke in five minutes

This thing was fantastic...for 5 minutes...then the motor died and it wouldn't move back and forth anymore. What a waste of plastic.

Recommended Product

This game is downright fun! The target actually moves back & forth and it can lead to some great competitive play. You can play it on hard flooring or carpet, indoors or outdoors and it is fun for most all ages. Everyone who has seen it in action or has played it has really been impressed but there are some small detail problems. For one, it will bump into thing sand fall apart because the places where the parts are attached have nothing to keep them in place so you will have to fix it every so often, no biggie but worth noting.The nets are only big enough to hold 3 bags (which are stuffed and don't have much weight to them) and you have to remove them before the next bag will properly land and stay in so we usually have someone who is a bag catcher to get them out if someone scores and also, it does sometimes go further on one direction than the other. The batteries DO last a long time and it is EASY to assemble within a few minutes and all you need is a screwdriver to open the battery door and it can be played without movement so no batteries, no problem. Overall it's a BIG hit with a few glitches that are NOT deal breakers. It's great for parties, kids playtime, Adults playtime, retirement homes, fundraiser games, etc.. oh my gosh.. there so many different occasions that it could be used I couldn't list them all. This little game was for for my 4 year old. My biggest problem with this, is the same thing that I have had with other games by franklin that are similar. When you throw the bag, it rips through the netting. And no we are not throwing hard at all. Setting it up wasn't difficult and for the price, the product quality is about what you would expect. My little one still enjoys playing with it. But it would be better if it didn't mess up.

Not really bean bags

This provides lots of fun but it is not great in the mobile format. It is easily put together but falls apart easily. The bags are not actually bean bags--they are stuffed with fiber fill. It is more difficult to use with the provided "bean" bags so I swapped them out for actual bean bags which work better. Overall, it is fun but I was a little disappointed.

A cool concept with poor execution & middling quality

The media could not be loaded. This is a simple and fun family game that is especially good for younger kids to practice coordination, its a new product so possibly its flaws (detailed below) can be fixed in a revision. It can be played inside or outside, the bean bags are actually just stuffed (no beans/grain) but soft so that kids cannot hurt themselves (or each other) playing with this toy. Assembly isn't too tough and the instructions are clear, all in all I assembled it in ~6 minutes and only needed a screwdriver to open the battery door. With that being said, there are a number of problems with this product. The main problem is in the automatic movement system which moves the toy back and forth to increase the difficulty; there are two speeds (slow and fast) but regardless of which speed you choose the toy moves to the right about 4 more inches than it does left. Meaning that after about a minute or two, the product is crashing into the wall or other furniture. Even if you play with this outside it will not fix this problem; and as such the auto movement feature is useless. Secondly there are no bumps/stops in the assembly tubes. Therefore not only does the product come apart on its own (especially after it crashes into furniture from the auto mode) but it also is relatively hard to make it perfectly square. Third is the size of the nets in relation to the size of the bags. According to the instructions; the "game" is to reach 21 points first. Since there are only 3 bags per color and the max number of points is 3 per bag.... then you will need to play more then 2 rounds to win at very minimum. Each net is only large enough for about 3 bags to fit in it; meaning that if you and your opponent are landing bags in the same net then the bags will start to fall out or bounce off of the current bags in the net. All in all if they could fix the movement discrepancy and increase the size of the nets and number of bags then this would be quite a good product. But as it stands; this really has too many flaws to be recommended. It gets boring fast when you have to constantly retrieve the bags and reposition the product because its crashing into your furniture or walls.

fun game for kids and adults

while this is advertised as a kid game, i can totally see a bunch of buzzed adults over Thanksgiving break trying to play this. fun and entertaining, no matter whether you are playing or not! easy to set up, just remember you need to provide the 4 AA batteries.

Fun game.

this is a fun game to play and teaches kids coordination. It is better than watching the kids on their phones. We use this only family game night. we set it up in our living room. Its a nice addition to our other games.
