Very Satisfied

I was using an expandable hose which just couldn't carry enough water. After upgrading to this hose, I am so very satisfied. Quality is very good, fittings are exceptional and water moving ability is greatly increased. The only small issue I had was it took quite awhile for it to lose its coiled shape. But once it was exposed to the sun for awhile, it is now wonderful.

Well...

I'm up in the air with this one. It works pretty good, but it's supposed to not kink. I purchased 2 or these. The first one seemed perfect. The second one immediately started to kink. Not really sure why this is called "pro performance" because it works as any other garden hose. The only nice feature I see is that the connectors are well made.

You'll never buy a vinyl hose again

I knew that rubber hoses are superior as you always see them used in the garden centers and by professionals but they typically use the heavy red rubber hoses. The problem with even the best vinyl hoses is when they do kink, and all hoses can kink, they have a memory of the kink and that spot will continue to kink and weaken. As far as I can tell this hose even when it does kink has absolutely no memory and thus remains like new. After several years of using mine and storing on a hose reel it still looks like new. I tried the highest rated vinyl hose (which apparently is no longer made) and it was a good hose for vinyl but did not hold a candle to this one. I hope they don't stop making it. Like another reviewer I just received my second hose and its different than the first one ordered 2 years ago. The surface is shiny and thinner compared to the old one. I don't believe this second hose is rubber, it sure looks and feels like a typical vinyl hose. All I can say is what a shame. The couplings are top notch - O ring, spring strain relief but what a waste if the hose only lasts a few years.

Best garden hose I've ever owned. *Revised after receiving the new one.

I bought two a year ago. One was outside for the full year in Alabama heat and humidity. The other stays in the garage and only comes out for washing vehicles, hosing off the driveway, and general cleaning. Can't tell the difference between the two. Very rugged attaching ends. Like them so much I'm buying another one. After receiving the new one, I've revised my rating down to 4. The new hose is not as robust as the first two. This one was half flatten in numerous places. They have either reduced the thickness of the hose or cheapened the material. It is definitely lighter than the previous two I purchased. The packaging and UPC code are identical to the previous two that I purchased. I will have to re-evaluate over time to see if it holds up as well.

Not great.

The “industrial strength” fittings are aluminum. Not brass. That means they will corrode to your spigot, then you’ll have to cut them off. Decent for the price, but I wish they were brass fittings.

Smart buy!

This hose is so good I bought a second after owning the first for several years. Durable, well made and connections do not leak. Connectors are machined to a smooth, perfectly aligned finish to screw onto faucets and spray attachments. This should last many years with proper storage/care.
